"Plus points: location. Restored grand house featured in film “Night train to Lisbon” although some areas appeared unfinished. Food quality very good. View from rooftop spectacular. Negatives: Bizarre welcome. Chef/Maitre d’ clearly like the blank tablecloth concept, ie no cutlery, glasses, condiments. Service a little erratic. Room somewhat lacking in interest, very plain colours and few paintings."
