"Pasamos y lo encontramos por casualidad. la verdad es que nos sorprendió gratamente, comimos el menú del día durante 10€, nos servimos una ensalada para compartir, primero, segundo, postre, café, pan y bebidas incluidas. el trato es muy cerca, muy buena cocina casera y raciones muy correctas. "Ayer estuve comiendo en el restaurante con mi mujer y me pareció un gran restaurante con un menú de mediodía muy completo en el que destacó el carpaccio de gamba roja,el crepe de morcilla y el arroz con chipirones,gambas,zamburiñas(muy bueno). El servicio estupendo,todos los camareros muy atentos,agradables y profesionales. La Chef muy simpática salió al final del servicio a preguntar cómo habíamos comido, un gran detalle. "It's a nugget!! First of all, the tapas bar is located on a square. It's ideal for children who need to move and run while adults take their time. The server and the owner are adorable. The tapas are wonderful, they have taste. We took the cider chorizo, raw ham, fried fish, Burger, TeX mex plate, croquettas. The best aioli I've eaten We would have liked to taste all the dishes but we couldn't eat the Burger because we were no longer hungry. The Burgers were packed so we could eat them at home. The service is fast. This is a very good address!! I'll be back ! Kid-friendliness: My son is a picky eater and he loved all the dishes."

"My wife and I visited Chimes for a relaxing coffee with tostada. When we ordered coffee we asked for large rather than the standard, which was a big mistake. When It arrived it tasted just like hot milk. I politely asked if we could have it a bit stronger. The waitress with the tattoo on the nape of her neck was not at all happy with our request by the look on her face and muttered this is how it is here. She came back with a tiny jug of strong coffee to add to our mugs which was absolutely perfect. I said “ I hope we haven’t made you cross’ to which she muttered something inaudible. When I paid I thanked her again for making our coffee nice. We won’t be back as staffing and attitude seem to be a problem here I have to say the food looked good and excellent value for money but we will try next door in future. Shame, as a smile and a bit of courtesy goes a long way to please most people."

"Recommend this place by a couple of friends who had been many to this restaurant times. Very rustic typical Spanish bar,very friendly and welcoming. Seats inside and out in quiet area. Had lots of different Tapas between 4 of us bread,olives,nuts, almonds,Russian salad,chicken thighs,squid,fried roe,prawns in garlic,mushrooms in garlic,,fish platter in breadcrumbs,potato bravas etc food plentyfull 3 large gin and tonics, one large Tia Maria and Coke,2 large wines,2 large ameretto,one coffee bill €70 between 4 of us,will definitely recomend and be back to try the rest of the Tapas menu"

"Had a brilliant evening with my wife two children and my parents. Food was absolutely brilliant as was the service. The couple who own it aswel as barcode on the square Mark and Vicky are very welcoming and you feel at ease within seconds of walking in. Vicky who is the chef is absolutely superb. The steak, chicken, fish and sides were brilliant along with the starters and deserts. We fed 6 of us with top quality food and service with 3 starters 6 mains (2 children's) and 3 deserts all with 2 drinks each for €84!!! What value for money. This was our first visit to the resteraunt but will 100% not be our last. Highly Recommended"

"Stopped in for fish and chips a couple of days ago. I had been coming for the delightful coffee and was feeling peckish this day. Anyway I had the fish and chips,bottle of Sprite,chocolate mousse and a super coffee. All for seven Euro fifty and served with a big smile. Well done to the two girls who run this superb little restaurant that would put bigger establishments to shame. The fish was of the frozen variety but no less tasty for that."

"naans stodgie and burned. no candle burner cold plates. long wait between eat and rice and naans. most Indian restaurants include half a bottle of wine or a drink. would not cook paratha. all restaurants. beautifully decorated. Pick up cheesecake from the beer. much better curry sites. menu for hard to understand, had to switch between menus. the menu should not have been a separate piece of paper in the main menu we asked for. they want to eat al la carte"

"This restaurant is just too inconsistent, In other words you are never sure what you are going to get. The starters are over priced and not of a good quality. The mains are very good but the way they are served this is were you take pot luck. Sometimes served on a slate sometimes on a plate, sometimes the fries are served separately, sometimes on the plate either on top of the meat or at the side or even the meat on top, erm make your minds up how you are serving your food and be consistent, plus sort out the awful vegetables. There is also too much up selling to try and get more cash out of you, although there is a Menu del Noche it is never offered. Avoid the desserts, yes they are made on the premises, but because the restaurant is more a kebab house than a restaurant they do not turn over their desserts quick enough to ensure the quality. On a positive note, good service and reasonably priced."
