"Wir waren an einem Feiertag im Kaoru, da Kyoto und Tokyo Sushi beide geschlossen hatten an dem Tag, voll war das es dort trotzdem nicht. Die Service Mitarbeiterinnen waren zwar recht freundlich und die Qualität der Speisen ganz in Ordnung, weshalb ich noch 2 Punkte gebe. Allerdings liefen an der Sushibar über die 1.5h die wir da waren immer die gleichen Teller vorbei, die niemand wollte. Teilweise wurde dann da noch das abgeladen was irrtümlich zubereitet wurde. Die beiden Sushiköche haben immer wieder lautstark mit dem Servicepersonal diskutiert, waren ständig mit dem abarbeiten von außer Haus Lieferungen beschäftigt und einer der beiden war auch nicht in der Lage ordentliche Rollen zu rollen. Auf die Bestellungen müsste man teilweise sehr lange warten. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier einfach nicht, andere Sushirestaurants in Mannheim sind deutlich besser und die Atmosphäre war sehr unangenehm."

The whole ambience in the restaurant is harmonious, modern and clean. With the right seat you can watch wonderful when preparing the dishes. "I think basically all vegetarian options are vegan by default here. I like that you can mix match your meal as you like, combining 3 different elements. And for once the vegetarian/ vegan options are cheaper than the ones with meat! I can only recommend getting your meal with injeera bread rather than couscous the bread is just amazing! And unlike other places, they also have vegan dessert, if you still have space in your stomach after a really good main! Once I was there with a large group of people: they were struggling to deal with that many people, but were still very nice and did their best, trying to accommodate everyone. But it's easier if you go there with less people."

I wondered for what he needs a few real best! after some time he was back at the window, he told me with a scary ton he would like his money back and gave me a pizza at 1/3 eaten back. after the discussion with full operation I came out of the pizzeria and saw how he made with his family 2 small children picnic on the walkway with a deck and ate our pizza. distance to the pedestrians 1,50 m was not given. her car was parked obliquely on the footpath and I took my handy and made photos of this proof photos I will forward to the authority, as this assessment is unjustified."

"Eigentlich hätte ich bei der Reservierung schon stutzig werden sollen. Ich wollte über openTable eine Reservierung machen (wie ich es oft tue!). Das Tool funktionierte nicht, also schrieb ich ans Purino eine Email. Als Antwort bekam statt einer Bestätigung: Doch - das tool funktioniert - bei mir geht es auch...Sie haben da was falsch gemacht.....ähm Nein habe ich nicht und selbst wenn - Kundenkommunikation geht anders - das aber nur mal am Rande.Der nette Mann hinter dieser Email war nach einigem hin- und her dann so nett und hat die Reservierung aufgenommen.Vor Ort dann zum Frühstück: Die Getränkebestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und kam auch schnell - und dann sassen wir erstmal eine Stunde ehe überhaupt was passierte. Es kam niemand um eine Reservierung aufzunehmen. Wir haben gewunken, gerufen und sind an den Tresen - man sagte uns es komme jemand und wieder verging einige Zeit. Das Lokal war 1/3 gefüllt. Irgendwann kam eine Servicekraft die sich entschuldigte und uns sagte: sorry, wir hatten heute morgen eine Schulung und danach musste meine Kollegin gleich weg! Irgendwann nach ca. 1,5h fast zur lunchzeit hatten wir dann unser Frühstück. Das war soweit ganz gut und schmackhaft.Das vielfältige, angepriesene selbstgebackene Brot kam dann ebenfalls - allerdings nur eine Sorte - das helle Ciabatta....die Servicekraft sagte dann ungefragt zu uns: sorry wir haben nur noch diese eine Sorte - SIE sind zu spät dran. Wir haben ihr dann erklärt, dass wir schon 1,5 Stunden da sitzen und um 10 Uhr frühstücken wollten und mittlerweile schon fast 12 ist - als Antwort meinte sie dann frech: dann hätten Sie reservieren müssen! Das lass ich jetzt einfach mal so stehen.Fazit: wir kommen nicht wieder. Eine bodenlose Frechheit und ungeschultes Personal. Da gibt es bessere Lokationen im Umkreis."

"Die Pizza hier ist immer wieder gut, wir wohnen in der Nähe und bestellen regelmäßig und es war kaum je ein Fehlgriff dabei. Dünner Boden, gute und frische Zutaten und mehr als faire Preise, zeichnen diese Pizzeria aus.Vor allem zum Mittagstisch ist die Pizza ein echtes Schnäppchen, aber beispielsweise auch Mittwochs und Donnerstags das Schnitzel Paradiso für 6,40 Euro (ein großes Schnitzel mit einer Sauce nach Hausrezept und Salat sowie Pommes als Beilage).Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert. "This property is developed around a concept similar to Starwood's W Hotels: A central location, a cool street-level lounge and restaurant with lots of non-guest traffic, and nicely-decorated rooms.Bottom line, I did not dislike the place, but did not like it either. I left with the impression that Management cuts corners. Just as an example, as a hotel guest, you're treated like any other patron when trying to secure a place in the lounge or at the restaurant, which can be pretty frustrating at peak hours, as the place is really busy. Staff, while being courteous, is young, probably not too well paid, and clearly under trained. Kitchen staff also looked young and not too experienced (my breakfast omelette was proof). Just as an example, I had 4-5 interactions with the same receptionist over 2 days, and while courteous indeed, she was far from being engaging or make you feel valued as a guest. Not a single smile or warm word.Rooms are nice (they look better on pics than they actually are), but have cheaper mattresses and bed linen, a very poor selection of English TV channels, and a meager, middle-of-the-road selection of amenities in the bathroom. Towels were also sub par.Breakfast is very nicely laid out and displays a good spread in terms of variety, but the quality of food was below par for the price paid.A night at the Syte will set you back around 200 USD, and Mannheim being Mannheim, not Manhattan, the Syte is overpriced for what it is. Probably the result of little competition in town."

"Update: food still 5/5 I got to try the breakfast setup (the Paris one), very nice! Salmon was my fav, and then the small portions but abundance choices would fill you up in the end. The other thing i tried was their autumn specials. A pumpkin aperitif was okay. But the pumpkin flammkuchen was amazing. My friend also got the rouladen and said it was one of the best meal he had. Food:5/5 I ordered the lasagna bolognese (got myself a box of salad since it was a lunch time promo) and a slice of Frankfurt crown cake. The lasagna was superb, i liked it. Good portion, meaty bolognese, consistency of the the tomato as well as the bechamel sauce was great, and on the bottom there was this crusty layer, i would guess it involved some cheesy layer wow, me likey. The Frankfurt crown cake was great, at first i thought it was too sweet but not really when you got the jam layer, it was pretty well balance. The buttercream was light, and the nut layer was great. Will try for other menu later in the future. Service: 5/5 It was quick and to the point. I can see that they were quite busy, despite the pandemic situation, which was a good signal for them. On my visit, there was a lady who seemed to be a regular and the staffs were greeting her politely, super nice. I tried to make an order in german but maybe my german was unrecognizable that the owner just switched to english but i think the positive side is that the foreigners can rest assured they can converse in english easily here."

"Hands down the best Italian food in Mannheim. Being a student from Malta in Mannheim proved to be difficult with regards to food. Apart from take aways and Turkish kebab or pide joints it was difficult to find a genuine family owned restaurant with home made food. Gianni's solved this problem. It is a little hole in the wall owned by a Sicilian family serving up delicious food from the old country. Their pizza, pasta and salads are amazing! Prices are also generous, for 5-6 euros you can get a satisfying lunch or dinner.Service is fast and friendly, although I always spoke Italian with them so I cannot comment on how they serve Germans. Overall they are hard working and dedicated people though, so there shouldn't be much of a difference.All in all, if you're looking for good Italian food in Mannheim, Gianni's is the only place to go! If you feel like washing it down with a good, strong espresso, check out the Italian coffee bars in Beilstrasse too. They compensate for the lack of good coffee in Mannheim for sure."

"Das Little Saigon weiß auf ganzer Linie zu überzeugen, nicht nur die Auswahl der Speisen ist grandios, auch die Getränkevielfalt sucht ihres Gleichen. Angefangen bei der Minzlimonade bis hin zur Lycheelimonade, alles aus frischen Zutaten und je nach Saison wechselnd. Anfangs war ich hier nur mittags aus geschäftlichen Gründen zu Gast, sehr bald jedoch wollte ich diese Restaurant aber nicht länger meinen Freunden vorenthalten und niemanden von weitaus mehr als hundert Gästen (wir haben viele Kunden in unserer Firma zu Besuch, aus allen Teilen der Welt und das wöchentlich) hatte jemals etwas zu kritisieren. Nein, ganz im Gegenteil, viele meiner Freunde sind ebenfalls Stammgäste geworden. Das Essen im Little Saigon ist absolut authentisch, mit vielen Kräutern und Gewürzen, die man sonst nur in Asien bekommt und nicht ein typischer 0815 Asiate der mehr nach deutschen Gerichten schmeckt als nach dem Original. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen und werde auch weiterhin meinen Kunden stolz dieses Juwel präsentieren."

"right behind the old seckenheimer rathaus the gast finds the hotel and boardinghaus weingärtner. because the house has few rooms, the hotel is often fully booked. which stands in front of the house is initially overwhelmed: the workshop of 1773 has a very high, steep dach. after my knowledge, it is a former taboo scrub that has been extended to the hotel. in front of the house is a beer garden where they can sit comfortably and enjoy the sun (or want to shadow). the rooms themselves are very large, most even have a cooking option in the form of a dining kitchen, even the bathrooms are beautifully large. in the ground floor are two rooms next to the reception, there is the breakfast in the morning. this has the usual hotel standard on the first look, the second look then reveals the self-made jams and the fresh obstsalat, which consists not only of coarsely carved apples with some grapes and watermelons, but the seasonal top offer contains fine cut and is filled again. the tee is thoroughly brewed. if the guest wishes, the breakfast can also be taken in the beer garden, the friendly staff brings the necessary and desired. the hotel does not own its own pakrplatz, the parking situation around the old rathaus is not intoxicating, so they need to look for a little, but in the rule they find a parking space close to."

"Unweit der Feuerwache, mitten in einer der hübschesten Wohngegenden Mannheims, liegt die Osteria Limoni, mit ihrem gemütlichen, überrankten Gärtchen (gestern leider zu kalt) und ihrem dezent und geschmackvoll dekorierten, schlauchförmigen und mit Tischen bis zum Anschlag vollgestellten Gastraum (gestern rappelvoll, der vorerwähnten Kälte wegen). Dieses Aufeinandertreffen von Enge und Fülle hatte akustische Konsequenzen, die uns bereits beim Eintreten entgegenschlugen und die dazu führten, dass wir uns den Abend über nur mit erhobener Stimme oder bis zur Tischmitte vorgebeugt unterhalten konnten. Nach Auskunft des Hauses ein Wochenendphänomen.Wir hatten uns für das Viergangmenü entschieden; die notwendigen Umkonfigurationen für die vegetarische Tochter waren kein Problem, auch wenn das Limoni seine Stärken eher im Non-veg-Segment hat. Es war wichtig, dass wir reichlich Hunger mitbrachten, und selbst das hat nicht verhindern können, dass nicht alle Teller leergegessen wurden - die Portionen sind nämlich gigantisch. Alles war gut, der Ziegenfrischkäse so frisch, dass sogar meine Ziegenkäse hassende Frau freiwillig davon probiert hat, die ein, zwei Knöchlein im Maishähnchensalat und die ein, zwei Gräten in der Dorade verzeihlich (wenn auch überraschend), ebenso die fehlenden Tropfen Zitronensaft (Limoni!), die besagtem, gut geölten Maishähnchen noch etwas mehr Pfiff verliehen hätten. Dazu gab es einen 15-prozentigen (!!) Sizilianer, der die beiden Damen bei Laune hielt (der Autor dieser Zeilen war leider der Fahrer), und am Schluss noch ein superbes Pannacotta bzw. einen Riesenbollen Vanilleeis mit lecker Aprikosenkompott, danach konnten wir zufrieden nach Hause rollen.Hier isst man also beengt, reichlich und gut - und gut gelaunt, dank des nicht nur schnellen und kompetenten, sondern auch fröhlichen und gesprächigen Personals."

Therefore: They use only the best ingredients, every single time the dishes were just fabulous, the service at its best. And since I got a glimpse behind the scenes, I want to share that the kitchen is very neat and clean. I enjoy going there every single time and can truly recommend it. There is a reason why the Mannheim ice hockey team comes here quite often."

"Its a really nice small Indian restaurant pretty close to the hauptbahnof. The service is quick and the people of the restaurant are very friendly. The food is quite tasty but if you are expecting it to be just like how you had it back in India, then you should specify to make it spicy. Otherwise, the food still tastes good but not spicy. The price and the portion of the food is at par and pretty reasonable. Whatever we had for dinner was all good and delicious except for the Tandoori chicken, which could have been much better. We also had Gulab jamun for dessert and it was delicious and hot! Really nice. My overall experience was good. But since the place is a bit small, take-away is a better option I feel."
