"Meine Erfahrungen waren bisher schlichtweg positiv mit diesem Lokal. Ich liebe ihr Konzept mit den Aufläufen (persönlich kann ich den Curry Auflauf mit Reis empfehlen). Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und vor allem sympathisch. Ich erwische mich immer wieder dabei, mit den Lieferanten einen kleinen Plausch zu führen, einfach weil sie einen so sympathischen Eindruck machen, dass man auf natürliche weise zu einem Gespräch kommt, die Leute am Telefon sind auch immer geduldig, höflich und nett. Die Aufläufe sind meiner Ansicht nach überdurchschnittlich gut, sowie die Beilagen. Der Döner ist meiner Meinung nach mittelmäßig. Die Preise sind sehr fair. Alles im allen, ich kann das Lokal wärmstens empfehlen. My experience with this restaurant has been positive so far. I love their concept with the casseroles (personally I can recommend the curry casserole with rice). The staff is incredibly nice and above all friendly. I keep catching myself having a little chat with the suppliers simply because they seem so personable that it's a natural way to start a conversation, the people on the phone are always patient, polite and nice too. In my opinion, the casseroles are above average, as are the side dishes. The doner is mediocre in my opinion. The prices are very fair. All in all, I can warmly recommend the place."

"On first appearances Nero looks the part with stylish decor and an interesting menu. I wanted tagliatelle but was rudely informed by the waitress that the only pasta available was friselle. One would think that fresh pasta could be made to order. Had they run...out of flour? The pasta that arrived was definately not fresh, but a cheap variant, possibly from a well known budget supermarket. It was undercooked and a challenge for my teeth. I found the service slow, unprofessional and arrogant without good reason. Any Italian would be ashamed!"

"The service was very friendly. The drinks came fast, for the food we had to wait longer (min 30 minutes) there was also a communication problem with the appetizer that came only with the main course. The pommes for the children take unfortunately. Pictures of the food we forgot about hunger. All portions were quite large and looked delicious. The coconut cure with rice and potatoes and the pommes were not excellent, but okay. The added salad was slightly dry (the sauce disappeared somewhere down in the plate and not particularly delicious). In spaghetti with coconut curry sauce the noodles were cooked and had a strange aftertaste. My wife left half her back because you were bad. Unfortunately no food you can enjoy. "Went there for the first time with my boyfriend. Nice polite staff. Went there for the second time with my mother and little brother. Weird waitress, didn't wipe the table when I asked because of all the crumbs from the guests sitting there before us. Spoon for latte macchiato had disgusting, really greasy grease fingerprints. The waitress looked stupid because we wanted a new, clean one. Only our coffee drinks and cocoa came. We waited for everything else and asked casually after an hour… “Yeah, oops, we forgot that.” Paid and left. If they don't want guests and look and react strangely when asked politely, then they shouldn't run a cafe. Accordingly, I advise everyone I know not to go there because hygiene and cleanliness is a foreign concept to them. I have to gag now when I think about the greasy fingerprint. "Das Essen war gut, aber leider mussten wir zwei Stunden darauf warten. Ein Hauptgericht kam erst, nachdem alle anderen schon fertig waren und zwei Beilagen wurden vergessen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und bemüht, aber überlastet und die Küche kommt überhaupt nicht hinterher. Man sitzt leider sehr beengt und der Tisch im Eingangsbereich war doch eher ungemütlich. Ein weiteres Mal werden wir das Lokal vorerst nicht besuchen."

"Ich war hier jahrelang regelmäßig und mochte den Döner immer ganz gerne. Vor einigen Wochen habe ich einen Döner nicht ganz aufgegessen und den Rest in den Hausmüll geschmissen. Am nächsten Tag war dieser voll mit mindestens einhundert Maden. Im Müll war nichts anderes, das Maden mit sich tragen könnte. Die kamen definitiv von dem Döner. Ich hab noch nie so eine Kritik geschrieben und versaue ungern anderen das Geschäft, das was mir da widerfahren ist zeugt aber einfach von miserabler Hygiene und ist ekelhaft. Daher die Empfehlung, nicht zu Mr. King zu gehen. Rechts und links davon sind sowieso bessere Alternativen."

"Das Café liegt am Ende der bekanntesten Einkaufsstraße in der Marburger Oberstadt. Wer durch die Stadt flaniert und erschöpft vom Schauen und Shoppen mit einem Kaffee sich stärken will, sollte der Versuchung widerstehen und sich bis zum Ende der Barfüßerstraße gedulden - er wird dort mit dem besten Kaffee der Stadt und einem stets vorzüglichen Kuchen belohnt werden. Darüber hinaus gibt es saftige Brownies, Cookies und Pralinen - alles selbst gemacht. Einziger Nachteil, der Vorteil zugleich ist: Der Platz ist begrenzt. Drinnen und draußen finden sich jeweils nur drei-vier Tische. Dafür hat man es immer gemütlich - im Sommer vor allem dank der ruhigen Lage, im Winter dank der kuscheligen Shabby-Chic-Einrichtung."

"Der Burger King in Marburg gehörte ja zu den Gaststätten (das Wort Restaurant möchte ich beim besten Willen nicht in den Mund nehmen), die wegen Hygienemängel, widerlichem Essen und defiziten bei der Personalführung in die Kritiken geraten waren. Ich habe die Gaststätte daher erst einmal gemieden.Vor einigen Tagen habe ich mir noch einmal ein Herz gefasst und habe es noch einmal ausprobiert. Was soll ich sagen: Von den drei am "Drive in" bestellten Burgern war schon einmal einer falsch. Darüber hinaus waren alle Burger in Papier mit der Aufschrift "Junior Whopper" abgepackt, obwohl ich nicht einen einzigen bestellt hatte.Die Burger waren mit Abstand das widerlichste, was mir jemals vorgesetzt wurde und spottet jeder Beschreibung. In die Verpackung war die Matsche einfach reingerotzt worden. So kam es mir jedenfalls vor.In diesem Burger King muss wirklich etwas passieren. Bezahlt die Angestellten vernünftig, dann haben die auch mehr Motivation und Spass an der Arbeit. Ich meine, bei den abgehobenen Preisen für den vorgesetzten Frass, sollte eine vernünftige Bezahlung der Angestellten drin sein (das gilt übrigens für alle "Fast Food Tempel").Also in Sachen Qualität gibt es viele "Burger King"-Läden, die ihre Arbeit wesentlich besser machen. Um die Marburger Filliale werde ich auf jedem Fall erst einmal einen riesen Bogen machen."

"Man muss das Restaurant mal ganz klar nach dem Bewerten was sie sein wollen. Wer das mit irgendwelchen fancy craft-Burger Läden vergleicht tut den Jungs unrecht. Hier gibt es Fast Food zum satt werden ohne teuren Schnickschnack aber mit absolut perfektem Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Portionen sind richtig gut, die pommes schön kross und es schmeckt nach selbst gemacht statt Einheitsbrei. Das Ambiente ist dafür mau, weil einfach altes Restaurant (Jugoslawisch? "Es war eine sternenklare Winternacht. Ich befand mich bereits auf dem Heimweg, als ich in einiger Entfernung die äußerst einladende Leuchtreklame von Mr. King wahrnahm. Mit jedem Schritt wuchs das Verlangen dem berühmten Mr. King einen Besuch abzustatten, der, was ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt bloß erahnen konnte,meine ganze Welt auf den Kopf stellen sollte. Als ich in die durchaus gut beheizte Wirtschaft eintrat, die meine müden Knochen auf einen Schlag erwärmte, vernahm ich sogleich ein äußerst intensives und wohliges Aroma. Der freundliche und in nicht geringerem Maße attraktive Inhaber begrüßte mich mit einem rustikalen "Jawoll Jawoll", und so war es dann endgültig um mich geschehen. Mr. King hatte mein müdes Herz im Sturm erobert. Wir plauderten noch eine Weile über dies und jenes und ich kann ohne schlechtes Gewissen behaupten, dass wir innerhalb kürzester Zeit richtig gute Freunde geworden sind. Als sich unsere gemeinsame Zeit langsam dem Ende näherte, überreichte er mir zum Dank seinen einzigartigen in ein knuspriges Fladenbrot gehüllten Schatz. Und was für ein Schatz, das kann ich euch sagen! Feinstes Fleisch, knackiges Gemüse und eine cremige wie samtig weiche Sauce der Milch eines heiligen Gottes würdig. Einfach nur himmlisch! Gespannt wie die Sehne kurz vor dem losschnellen wartete Mr. King der alte Flitzebogen, wie ich ihn gerne liebevoll nenne, auf meine Reaktion auf die von ihm kreirte absolut kernige Geschmacksexplosion. Doch unter wahren Freunden braucht es nur wenige Worte. Ein simples "Jawoll Jawoll" genügte, um ihm ein anerkennendes, herzliches Lächeln zu entlocken. Der Abschied fiel uns ganz offensichtlich schwer, aber wir beide wissen dass wir für immer einen Platz im Herzen des Anderen haben werden. Aus diesem Grund und in diesem Sinne: Jawoll Jawoll!"

"Even when we entered this hotel, we felt comfortable. The happy young woman at the reception accepted all of our concerns nicely, allowed us a late check-out, drew us a proposal for a route into the city plan and also had an umbrella for us. Just as well it went on in the “comfort room”. Ordinarily there was room and a cozy upholstery group for the stay on the day. Well, a little old-fashioned the furniture, but this was compensated by modern technology: the larger flat screen television, the stereo system and the electric slat rust adjustment of the really comfortable bed. In the washroom, which is also spacious and fully equipped, WC and bidet showed the formal language of classical modernity. After a long night, the sturdy handles on the bathtub were of advantage and our brain functions were restarted by the left thread of the shower height adjustment. Everything was very well maintained and lightning clean. On the extensive breakfast buffet we again experienced the special attention and kindness of the staff. The double room booked to the regular rate costs incl. Breakfast 93 €, plus 7 € for the garage space (prices as of April 2013). In view of what has been offered to us, it seems to us favorable for the conditions of a smaller city. We recommend this hotel. The hotel includes a “Mediterranean restaurant” that we did not visit and therefore does not relate to this assessment. If you want to arrive by car, you should borrow grandma's narrow bugs. For modern limousines, the conditions on the old double car park are very close."

"I have eaten here several times and just love the atmosphere! the pizza chicks are great. if they want, they can go a cake. I also like their breakfast, for which they get a separate menu. "Wir besuchten mit 4 Personen das Restaurant und blieben 2 Stunden. Der Service war während der ganzen Zeit präsent, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir bestellten eine Tapasplatte Especial für 4 Personen. Als Getränk einen italienischen Primitivo, Mineralwasser, Kaffee und Espresso. Gleich zu Beginn ein kleines Mißgeschick, ein Glas Primitivo wurde über den Tisch geschüttet und Kleidung wurde befleckt. Der Service übergab sogleich eine Visitenkarte mit dem Hinweis, das die Kosten der Reinigung übernommen werden, man entschuldigte sich. Das Essen: Das Brot war geröstet. Oliven grün und schwarz, gebratene Paprika und anderes Gemüse, Kartoffel Tomaten Gemüse undAioli waren reichlich vorhanden. Die Gambas waren auf den Punkt gegart und saftig. Die Tortilla war etwas zu wenig gewürzt. Der gebeizte Lachs war geräuchert und ein Convinienceprodukt. Außerdem hatte man es versäumt den tranig schmeckenden Mittelteil zu entfernen. Die kleingeschnittenen Paprikawürstchen waren scharf und mit der pikanten Sauce sehr schmackhaft. Das Rumpsteak mit Chimichuri war ca. 1cm dick, was zur Folge hatte, das das Fleisch durchgegart war und ein rosa Kern fehlte.Außerdem durchzog das Steak ein Strang aus Collagen (Sehne) auf dem man rumkaute. Schmackhaft war es und noch saftig. Auf der Platte lag ein persischer Spiess (Hähnchenfilet). Ein Spies für 4 Personen? AUF ZWEIMALIGE NACHFRAGE WURDE EIN ZWEITER SPIES NACHGEREICHT, ANGEMESSEN WÄREN 4SPIESSE GEWESEN. 3 Tortillaportionen lagen auf der Platte, wieso nicht 4 für 4 Personen. Der Serranoschinken und die Salami waren preiswerte Produkte aus dem Supermarkt, ebenso verhielt es sich mit der Chorrizowurst. Auf der Karte stand a la Cidra. A la Cidra (also mit Apfelcidre) konnte ich nicht feststelle. Die Aioli war von guter Konsistenz und ausgewogen im Geschmack. Alles in allem ein in Ansätzen gutes Essen mit Potential nach oben. Ps.
