"Marlenheim is a beautiful little town surrounded by its vineyards and guarded by two stork platforms. This restaurant was the only one open and we were a little put off by a rather cold response when we turned up before 7pm, and then got soaked in a sudden storm as we waited for opening time. Once open, it's a different story, however, with tourists and locals all treated to wonderful food, good service and on our visit a lovely baby. Celebrating our first night and meal in France after a very long journey we opted for the menu which was rather expensive. The food was of superb standard, however, especially the dessert which was quite magnificent. The local wine was just as good. The area and restaurant are well worth revisiting."
