"Ordered a takeaway from here, and was it ready in good time for pick up. The food was for the most part good and the onion bhajis were excellent. My one and only issue was that the restaurant's style of Chicken Tikka Masala was not to my liking. It was very minty and fruity in taste and unlike any Tikka Masala I have ever had. I would have preferred a more traditional rendition. To be fair when we ordered the restaurant warned us that their Tikka Masala was quite different. But for my money their changes to this dish undermined what for the most part was a very good meal. By all means have that dish on the menu but in my view it was not a Tikka Masala. Perhaps a Minty Masala"

"Haven't had the pleasure of eating there yet however I was impressed by my overall experience. I stopped by for a couple of drinks at the weekend and served by a very polite/helpful lady. Before I even had a chance to take my glasses back she was at my table and kindly took them for me. The choice of drinks is impressive. The garden is the perfect place to sit in the summer and the pub itself is in a peaceful location. Service: 5"

"Very good food and service, but the open fire had made the bar area badly smokey. Either the chimney needs a sweep, or the owners need to take advice from locals on how to lay a fire in a double layer. Get a good base alight, then put big logs on top to get smoke drawn up the chimney. RJP"

"Overall excellent, live duo (Thursday) great but performance area position could be better for diners not to have to sit next to PA speaker! Service food decor all great. I’d like to see table cloths or something to smarten up the tables as they look a bit dull but this is just a little feedback, we had a fab dinner, will recommend and look forward to our next visit.
