"Very disappointed, only came here as I've heard good reviews, living here I've never actually eaten in the commercial centre so I thought I'd give it a go, we both ordered steaks medium with chips, within 5mins the food came out, which for me was quick, (not sure they pre cook the steak and leave it on the side you can tell it's cooked on a hot griddle with the pattern on top, well every bite I had all i could taste was the burnt charcoal, I've had many steaks and this as to be the worst one yet! Wedges or chips was awfull, some where undercooked due to the fact not all the same size, no one came to check of the food was ok, terrible food and terrible waiter service, definitely wouldn't recommend"

"This restaurant is rustic, staff are welcoming and it’s very good value. We were staying in El Horno nearby and visited quite a few times for dinner. We went for a barbecue too, €12 a head. It was all you can eat. As a vegetarian I was a bit concerned I wouldn’t get much value. However, Nino made me a beautiful fresh omelette and was very accommodating. We all had a fantastic evening! The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is delicious. Highly recommended! Amazing team at El Pinillo!"

"Visited here on recommendation from a couple of restaurateurs in Puerto de Mogan. It seems this is where chefs in Mogan like to go to eat. Interestingly there are many restaurants in Mogan scoring more 'stars ' on TripAdvisor. Well, it is an odd but interesting restaurant. Decor wise it 's a bit of a throw back to the '80 's. The menu clearly had a few things on targeting tourists. Sausage and chips! Ignore and go to the fresh fish. The restaurant is owned by a fishing family who have their own boats and the fish looked fresh as could be. We said we wanted fish. The slightly eccentric and hyper waiter ran off returning with a tray of fish to show us. So we picked a couple a steak of swordfish, a whole other fish (very pretty but no idea what it was) and I think there was some Hake. Then fish chosen the waiter headed off shouting 'we cook, we cook, garlic. Canarian potatoes. ' I 'm not sure if it was a question or statement but we went with it. Food came and was fabulous. Simply cooked. Moist and perfect. Lots of garlic! Some of the best fish I 've tasted. Also it was a bargain. Other places we ate were way more expensive. Think this is a bit of a 'locals ' restaurant."

"Really nice staff, particularly Jessica who was friendly chatty. But that's where the positives end sadly the food was of very poor quality we tended to eat at 8.30 pm we felt like the food was rushed so that they could close up have their meal. We did eat there 3 times on our trip, mainly because other restaurants along that stretch were similarly mediocre/poor. As an example, we had a salad that was thrown together from the salad bowl, no preparation at all, very unappetising. I ordered the Pork one evening, despite the menu stating that it came with vegetables, there were 2 straggly pieces of asparagus, a few onions a minute portion of cold chips. We ordered a pasta dish one evening that was delivered just warm, by the end of the meal it was cold therefore not eaten. The Calzoni pizza I had one evening was very poor. I just don't think there is any care, the chef must know what he/she is serving. We felt that it was just one big rip off would not return or recommend."

"Todo un descubrimiento!! Abrían el buffet a las 16:00 y acudimos a esa hora . Todo muy fresco y rico. A pesar de estar en una zona turística nos sorprendió muy gratamente por la calidad dela comida y el precio. Seguían las normas sanitarias a raja tabla, el local muy limpio y todo el personal con mascarillas y guantes. Estaban muy pendientes de las mesas para quitarte los platos y reponer lo que hiciera falta. Además tiene un comedor en la terraza que hace más apetecible y segura la comida. "We had a delicious meal here. I didn't want to go initially but my sons wanted to try the buffet. I was SO surprised, the food was delicious a d the selection was big to choose from. My favourite were the chicken pieces in tempura they were so tender and the tempura light and crispy. My husband enjoyed the ribs in BBQ sauce and roasted chicken. My son's enjoyed the noodles and beef assortments. The ice cream and sauces added a tasty ending. To address the price of drinks everyone complained about and put me off what are they talking about?? By husband had a beer which was the same price as the restaurant next door and the kids drinks were also the same and as expected. I mean I bought a slushie at the smoothie bar further down the Pavillion for 4€ and I thought that was a rip Off. Our meal here for 4 was by far the tastiest and cheapest we had. I added our bill for you to see."

"We walked past this restaurant every night while on holiday , it was never busy and after looking at reviews decided to give it a go , however it was not as good as expected. Doopiaza was extremely hot and butter chicken was bright red with a hint of coconut, so both meals were not as expected. Onion bhajees were just sliced onion dusted in flour and deep fried, kheema nan was not the best tasting. There was a habit of trying to take our plates away before we were finished which was annoying and then they added a service charge for the privilege "
