"Stopped in Mount de Marsan on route from Bordeaux to Pau. Very nice restaurant close to the river. As well as the A la Carte options there are a couple of daily specials, but be early as it is a popular place for business lunches as well as tourists."

"This restaurant was recommended by French friends as being THE place to eat and has a Michelin star. So I took husband to celebrate a very special anniversaire.The location and the decoration are excellent, the service very french which means a stiff smile which never reaches the eyes and very formel but that is how it is here. The lobster bisque was so, so salty and I could not eat more than 2 spoonfuls. Having had this dish the previous week in another restauant and so enjoyed it, I was disappointed. The main course was fish which was beautifullly cooked but, once again, so salty. The vegetable was mousseline de choux-fleur au curry !!! about 2 large spoonfuls. This is the sort of vegetable I used to feed to my baby to ween her from the bottle, minus le curry , of course. My husband had the set dessert but pronounced it too sweet, dry and hard. Luckily I am coeliac so had a wonderful desset specially prepared: fresh pineapple with air dried vanilla sticks. Coffee and the local white wine was superb. We will not go again. This is obviously a French restaurant for French tastes as all the reviews I have read RAVE about it. Will not ever go there again or recommend it."

"Nous avons mangé en terrasse le 14/07/2017. Pour ceux qui trouvent moyen ou médiocre s'est exagéré. La prise de contact est très sympath. Le service est efficace.Nous avons été agréablement surpris par les prix qui sont plus que raisonnable (avec 2 apéros et 1 Perrier + 2 menus complet du jour + 1 plat et dessert nous avons payé pour 3 adultes 50 € 20). J'ai pris 1 menu complet à 14 € 50 : entrée (salade avec 3 belles tranches de pastèque + 3 jolies tranches de melon + 3 jolies tranches de melon jaune) puis en plat Lomo (3 jolies tranches un peu épaisse) avec frites et salade puis dessert crème brûlée. Le tout très bon et très copieux. 1/4 de vin et le café sont compris. Mon mari a pris lui aussi un menu complet mais avec du poisson cuit comme il se doit. Il a trouvé très bon et très copieux aussi. "Je recommande cet endroit que se soit entre amis/collègues/ en couple. Place de parking à proximité 《payant》 ou se garer aux arènes 《gratuit》 à 5min à pied de l endroit.Les plats que j ai gouté sont tous très bon et copieux. Reste quand même un peu cher pour un bol de pates.Service rapide. Personnelle très sympathiques. Terasse a disposition. Restaurant agréable esthétique toujours propre. "Air frais....Accueil sympathique (même si la serveuse portait un maillot de sport.....à chaque moment sa tenue me semble t il..., je dois être un peu classique)Excellente parrillada de poissons: la fraîcheur du poisson saute aux papilles, la cuisson est toujours parfaite, même le riz appelle les compliments. "Total and pleasant discovery of this restaurant. Cheap, tasty, very good, very kind! We entered around 12:10 p.m., there were only two people which surprised and challenged us. But as time passed, the restaurant was completely full. We understood why when tasting our dishes. The welcome is warm, small non-alcoholic cocktails and appetizers offered. We left very pleasantly surprised by this establishment which does not look like much. A big thank you to the staff for their welcome and to the chef for the quality of his dishes. We will come back, for sure! Parking: Place Pancaut is full during midday, either a stroke of luck or a short walk. Free two hours."

"meters to get in the appetite, so the same distance for digestion, after a hot meal in cold plates, for a gourmet meal served with tweezer clamps seen the limited quantities, good point for the different tastes and flavors present but not to understand my disappointment. this meal was a gift, we were presented a card with the rates .... water served to the sassietity, but not the wine, that two glasses per person, I had to ask for a drink, why not propose it. table installation, very neat and comfortable."

"there are not many hotels in this part of gascony, so there is no much competition, but this hotel was cheap for the company that I should visit the next day. I was driving from bordeaux, because I was right now. flew from london, so arrived quite late in the evening, but after I had dropped my bag in my room, I immediately came down to go to the restaurant. the bright, well-furnished restaurant was quite busy, although it was the week. I was shown as familiar to the inevitable side table for solo business travelers. the menu was full of local joys, of which I chose the foie gras, followed by a species of fish. the foie gras was good, even if the vegetables were a bit “rived”. the fish main course was overcooked and the bed of the sweet seemed like they had shimmered all night on the hot plate. a beautiful glass local gascogne wine made it all well. the staff was polite and friendly, but it was useful to understand French, as little English was spoken. certainly not the best advertising for a French regional restaurant."

Je finirais par le négatif ! Une devanture à rafraîchir d'urgence tous comme l'intérieur qui je pense et dans sont jus depuis plus de 30 ans au premiers regard l'ensemble paraît relativement propre mais à y regarder de plus près ont remarque de la saletés de partout,malheureusement pour ma part je ne reviendrais pas car pour nous la propreté et un élément trop important dans la prestation d'un restaurant pour faire de celui si un incontournable,dommage car ce que nous nous sommes régalés !!!!Cette avis reste suggestif et n'engage que moi !!!!!"

"the restaurant room o we were installs is old and dfraichi walls. minimalist manire dcore. the staff is careful and professional, the boss a little schematic. no choice but two menus (40 or 50 dishes marked by Spanish or Basque influence (chorizo) plates are not gnreuse (inhabitual for the south west) and the snug ralisation. identical dressage for 3 different dishes, pinards carrots. in the end a meal without a clat, worthy of a good canteen, no more, and for a price that does not bite"

"The restaurant is not very large and is in Indian style. As we were in January, it was not very hot (about 5° outside)... We placed next to the heating and we stuck on it to get a little less cold. Unfortunately, the current of air under the window and heating at least, my tender and soft ate with his coat. On the reception, we had the right to a smile when we settled, and then that's all. The general impression was that we were disturbing our waitress more than anything... and, moreover, we didn't get our whole order. We're not gonna say that our evening hood was unpleasant, but far from being pleasant... On the kitchen side, we are not sure about the freshness of the products. For the entrance, my Tikka Chicken was a little cold and a little dry... The rest of the meal was good, but we don't get up at night... For the payment, and despite the display on the entrance door, we had the right to a live reaction not all in restaurant tickets ... and we were limited to 3... In terms of quality/price, we stay on a negative feeling. It's a little expensive for what we ate. In summary, we went there once, we won't go back"

"Le jeudi 30/03, à notre arrivée dans ce restaurant (à 13h10) alors qu'il restait deux tables pour deux personnes (une à l'intérieur, une à l'extérieur), le serveur (patron?) passant rapidement devant nous ( si nous ne l'avions pas interpellé, il nous passait devant sans un regard) nous a répondu avec un faux-air de débordé par le travail que "ce n'est pas possible" ! Manifestement ce restaurant à beaucoup trop de travail, beaucoup trop de clients, la crise n'ayant pas de répercussion sur ses revenus, il se permet de refuser les clients "parce que c'est trop long" !Pas grave, vu le nombre de restaurants nous avons trouvé rapidement un restaurateur au comportement sympathique et commercial et nous n'avons certainement pas perdu au change ! Le restaurant l'Entracte ne nous reverra certainement pas !!"
