"A friend of mine recommended this place a while back. He said it was a little pricey when he offered this as a good choice for dinner. We finally decided to check it out one evening after work. Since it's off the beaten path it's not frequented by Americans often as indicative by the menu all Italian. That's a good thing for us since we know we're going to get authentic Italian cuisine. The first course, which we both tried, was a local dish baccala (dried and salted cod). This particular plate was a variant of the main course usually served. It was very tasty. Our second courses were beef steak for me and baccala for my wife. Both plates were again very good. My wife said after two dishes of baccala she wished she'd gotten something different. My steak was served rare to medium rare and had a good taste to it. Mixed vegetables, roasted potatoes, and salad came with the meal. Since it's so close to the house and the food was good we'll probably return in the near future."
