"During one of our trips across Europe, we decided to grab the car and jump to Andorra for a quick visit. On our way we came across Montellà with its luxurious landscapes and decided to rest there for a while. We searched Trip Advisor and came across the Fonda Pluvinet restaurant, with what seemed a highly recommended ratio. And this started out bad, awful, those OMFG trip moments. I really don’t understand the reviews after going there. We were met by the employees there with a more or less friendly approach. At first didn’t sound uncommon, different languages, expressions, ways to behave. However, it made a huge difference when we started being treated differently from other paying customers. Things went down to worse when the order came out wrong, and even more when more guests came in. Reservation tables flew out the window, some were met with friendlier terms than others, met with pretension. So, in terms of personnel, failed miserably. Regarding the food, it was not bad, but I really have to say it’s not something I would call unusual. It certainly is not a gastronomic specialty that the restaurant intends to demonstrate and fails miserably to be. Price, well, it’s not bad, but it’s high for the quality of the meal. While roaming around a lot revisiting places, we certainly do not intend to go back and even prefer to travel a bit more for a better meal and better welcome."
