"My husband, son, and I came here for dinner one night, mostly because the resto we had intended to dine at didn't open until 7:30pm (these Americans can't wait that long! . I can't recall what my other family members had ordered, but I had the pici with ragu del Cassero, and it was one of my favorite dishes of the vacation. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was meaty, rich, and well balanced. It was so delicious, I wanted to return for dinner the following night and order the same dish. The friendly server who had waited on us before recognized and warmly greeted us. When I said I wanted the pici again, she said it wasn't on the menu that night, but for me, she'd make it happen. I'd come back for the food and service if I were ever in Montevarchi again."
