"it's already been a past since I checked it, but then it didn't have it for most of us in Northern Europe....or more precisely, since when it was always that the united kingdom passed away from our mainland buddies. it is not to say that my better half natalie . I was not yet to see some great places since I recently published, but that can sometimes take over and write them forgot. but we have not forgotten ce petit bijoux...nor should we, ever. my only two reviews on travel advisers were as long as the places themselves were fabulous, but they deserve every minute of our worship, so again I find myself on a fairly long composition, so please carry them with: the men make places, they really do, but in the case of le manoir I have been the feeling that the place we spent our only night in the company of these two extraordinary people, they are the kind they need to meet to believe that the saying where there is one will, there is one way for us, it is not only the place that counts, it is those whose history is as captivating as the place where they sit and of what I could say we have had one last night, we are not the first to have one in the first the staff: I have read a very recent review, which the staff calls unprofessional and generally useless. to this person I would say: I have worked in the hospitality for the greatest part of my life, and I have seen what this pandemic of the industry has done first hand and there was not a single element of truth in the words they have entered. Of course there are some inexperience and maybe some hsitation and god forbid that one of the charming members of the team has made a mistake, but frankly, who is interested. rooms: again some have criticized them because they are not clean or are not up to date or whatever it is and I say to you young: the hotel du cap is very nice, so they go there and moan to them; I can assure them that their bank account will be, in return, moan with them. location: 20 minutes to cannes 35 minutes to the airport 10 minutes to valbonne (love it! 25 minutes after rampant 15 minutes from the house grew up in. Apart from my house bit, which is no interest for anyone who reads this, they can't beat it and if they love golf, then book them away. the household ground: exceptional good for kids:? if they were handed over by jon a rugbyball, I would say that it was exactly the place to take children. conclusion: I grew up in opio, so the south france is in my blood. for the first time I revisited it with natalie and showed her the world I love so much. we started our meeting together in Seillans and St-Paul-en-Foret in the var region, which was really beautiful. my mission was to fall in love with this spectacular against the world, but to be honest, it wasn't long after our arrival in nizza that I saw that it wasn't too much effort to fulfill this mission. our holiday was magical and eventful; it was all I hoped it would be, but as natalie said on the plane to house, le manoir was the icing on the cake. So thanks to all the employees and to camilla and jon, I ask them not to change anything. à l’année prochaine anthony et natalie"

"I've never felt more compelled to write a review from tonight's shocking dining experience. I'm going to write up the full and exact version of events to try and portray the defence this rude and obnoxious owner thought he had, so here goes...I called up yesterday to book a table for 8pm tonight. I was running 30 mins late so out of courtesy called up to let them know and was told this was no problem, there was still plenty of space. Upon arrival there was a table outside for 2 but after seeing the beautiful interior decided to sit inside so we moved and there were only 2 tables taken by other guests and around 8 free tables available. As soon I ordered a beer and my fiancé some water he had the hump and we immediately noticed his mood changed but we weren't sure why at this point. My partner doesn't drink alcohol not that we should have to make any excuse. We ordered 2 main meals, 2 vegetable sides and a rice which totalled $53.The waiter was very kind and polite. My partner got her main meal and the side orders came which looked delicious. When I received my main meal, they gave me the wrong order completely and although disappointed they assured me it would take a few more minutes. Unsurprisingly after around 12 mins i was still waiting and the waiter came over immediately to apologise understanding that we were unable to eat together and also that the side orders were getting cold. We simply just asked him to pass on our disappointment to the owner who was shirking behind the counter. He was reluctant to tell him and asked us to tell the owner ourselves as he doesn't care. He then came over during our meal and excused himself that the wrong order was put through but offered no apology or solution. At this stage any form of acknowledgment or gesture offered (even small) would have been gratefully accepted but nothing was offered and he continued to argue his defence to us, blaming his waiter. We didn't want to make a big deal out of it so just continued to eat and the food was sublime. The waiter could see his manager and the restaurant owner ignored the problem and once again came over to apologise. It was evident that he gets annoyed as soon as no alcohol (ie expensive wine) is not ordered.20 mins later and after reading other negative remarks I decided I was going to get up and speak with the owner directly privately outside to politely explain what we were unhappy about. I walked outside and he followed. He wanted to speak with me in front of the guests outside and I said 'I have respect for him and his guests so let's speak out of sight.'I simply said that I was disappointed for the reasons above and as a restaurant owner he should show more respect to his customers and that it was him alone that created this bad atmosphere. We spent good money and fully justified an apology. I was told...'First you came and sat outside then inside' (big deal!!!) and that we took up two tables instead of one-I've never heard so much rubbish and he continued to defend himself siting the reason that because he explained the mix up it was ok.I spent a couple more minutes trying to make him realise that just like he expects to be paid for food given, we also expect a minimum service level which we felt we didn't receive. The fact that the food was late ultimately wasn't the issue here but it was more so his reluctance to apologise and ruin the atmosphere of our meal.It was then evident this irrational man won't understand and said 'you will pay for all your food'. I was infuriated and replied saying i will decide what I will pay.We went back inside and at this point all customers outside looked shocked at his response but they wouldn't believe what followed. The bill came and i still gave €50 of my €53 bill. If I had a €5 note i would have only paid €45 so he got more than he deserved.Me and my partner walked out and he followed us demanding we pay the €3 balance shouting at us to never come back and that he doesn't need customers like us.He was willing to make a scene in front of all his other guests over €3s instead of accepting it and shutting up. At no point did I raise my voice when speaking with him but I've never experienced such horrific service.Unless you go there and order a lot of alcohol be careful about eating here and even if you do be aware who you are dealing with as you may find your entire evening ruined by such a rude and bad mannered individual. He is blessed to have a business in such a high end area around all the lovely art galleries around and doesn't have the customer service skills to run a business here at all.I'll never recommend anyone to go there and have been recommend that others consider a lovely Indian in Cannes instead called Taj Mahal or another lovely new Indian restaurant in by one of the port areas in Antibes instead.Shocking owner!!!"

"Went there with a large group (16 persons in total) for a birthday dinner. It was a relatively last-minute plan, and we were unsure whether it would be possible to arrange a dinner with that many people in just four days time. However, Ms. Larroumes (assistante commerciale) was very helpful in arranging everything in a very quick, effective and comprehensive way. She was very attentionate regarding everything, from our needs, our dietary restrictions, to our expectations. She made sure that we'd easily reach her, and that we'd be well-informed about everything prior to our event. She even made sure that we'd have an English-speaking personal waiter, and that the menu would be written both in French and English.Since the moment we arrived for the dinner, everything went beyond our expectations. Special thanks to Serguei (apologies if I misspelled his name), our personal waiter, for accommodating us throughout the event and for his impeccable service even until 1 a.m. Serguei was very courteous, professional, and helpful in accommodating all of our requests. Serguei's friendliness towards the children was particularly appreciated. The terrace and the private dining room were stunningly beautiful. The food was excellent - special thanks to the Chef, David Chauvac, for his well-thought personalised menu and our great discovery of French cuisine, from seafood and meat to French cheese and wine. All in all, everybody had a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend, especially for large-scale events. Au plaisir de vous revoir prochainement !"
