"Impossible to find fault, this sort of glowing review is not needed by the venue itself as they have all the customers they need; a Monday lunch in early November and nearly all the covers were taken, mainly with locals; so we were wise...to book. No, this is aimed solely at the TA brigade who need a recommendation for somewhere perfectly good and excellent value to dine near Monein without any risk of disappointment. Not haut cuisine, but simple tasty fresh dishes, encouragingly limited choices to a few menus, and faultless enthusiastic service; I don't think the Proprietor and her team stopped moving during the Service. Our course MDJ with a glass of local Jurancon sec compris was Worth every cent. Just bear in mind they are closed on Saturdays."
