"Very nice ambiance, starting from the decor to the friendly staff and the fact that the restaurant is almost always full even on a Tuesday night. Make sure to call them before going there to guarantee a table and since they seem to have a...pair/impair rule (they told me that they accept only pair numbers on specific days). They serve typical French and Swiss food and a great cheese fondu during the winter with several dessert and wine/beer options. The location is also very convenient as it's on the main restaurants and shops street of Neuchâtel, close to the tourists attractions and very close to the bus station (take the 107/109 (direction Place Pury) to Neuchâtel,Terreaux Muséum or Neuchâtel, Neuchâtel Place Pury then walk for a maximum of 3 minutes to the restaurant"

"A couple of colleagues and myself recently visited for a evening meal and we had a great night First thing you must know though is that if you walk from the centre of Neuchatel there are a lot of stairs to climb and your thigh...muscles will definitely get a workout. It 's not an easy restaurant to find but once you are there you will probably be glad, the effort is worthwhile. This is the place to go if you love tartare, their are about 20 different variations and they truly are quite different . I enjoy tartare quite regularly in another restaurant but I was surprised to see the variety and originality that was available here. There really is something for everyone. I went for the Thai which was delicately and delightfully spiced. I also took the opportunity of trying a forkful of my colleagues plate and was surprised to see how even small changes to the spices can make such a large difference he had chosen the Japonais Everything was presented simply, cleanly and with good taste.. The restaurant is surprising by it 's location and also the fact that the after climbing all the stairs to get there you have to go down a flight of stairs once inside.. Again the décor is simple, very clean and yet retains a homely feel. Would definitely go back, I loved it.. And a huge thanks to Loic for spending time with us to help with the wine selection, it was very much appreciated We loved the Malbec ."

"As a student ,Isaana is an option for a quick, moderately cheap and delicious meal. Offers a wide range of thai food on the menu but my all time favorite is the papaya salad and the pad thai. Overall service is excellent with very friendly...waiters and owner. During winter rather book a table in advance but summer its best to enjoy your authentic thai food by the lakeside. Thank you !"

"This restaurant is staffed by very polite and friendly servers, who speak English. It is located on a pedestrian street so parking would have to be elsewhere. If you sit outside, there is lots of action watching the passersby. The interiors are very nicely decorated. We had the set menu (CHF 42. /person) which included appetizers, different kinds of naan bread (which you can reorder as needed), four set main dishes, and one galub jamun. The total quantity was actually too much for all of us and we would instead recommend ordering individual dishes and then sharing them if you like trying different things. Particularly good were the shrimp in a sweet sauce and the tikki salmon. There was a long wait between the appetizers and the main course, and the food in the main course could have been served hotter."

"Would recommend. We had the plat du jour, potage du ravioli and the ginger prawns. My husband had the soup and beef dish. Everything was excellent, food was beautifully presented, service was very efficient and quick even though the restaurant was quite busy. Good value for money. "The food was OK, but it was not (repeat NOT) authentic Mexican food. We were given a choice between salads and gazpacho. Gazpacho is a Spanish soup, so it failed the authenticity test right there. The tomatoey “gazpacho” soup we had was watery, oily, and chunky. Nice try. No cigar. The enchiladas didn’t even come close to the real thing, and we are talking light-years here. The meat was wrapped in flour tortillas that were crisped on a griddle, then garnished with a small splash of sauce that tasted like spaghetti sauce. If you are hungry hungry hungry for yummy Mexican food, don’t come here."
