"I was in the mai with my Russian friend and we got a very nice dinner. some blossoms (pancakes) with red caviar and smiling (grilled barbecue) of pork and lamb. everything was very good. the restaurant had a beautiful view of the hypodrom. should be a very nice place in the summer."

"Das wichtigste vorab: die Küchenleistung scheint sich gebessert zu haben. War das ein Glückstreffer? Waren es doch die starken Schwankungen, die uns von einem Besuch in letzter Zeit abgehalten hatten… Das Angebot ist zwar äußerst umfangreich aber dennoch ansprechend. Der Service ist aufmerksam und sehr nett. Schockierend war ein Vorgang an einem der benachbarten Tische. Obwohl wir im ruhigen hinteren Teil des Restaurants saßen, den man ohne Reservierung eigentlich gar nicht betreten kann, verschaffte sich ein Taschendieb mühelosen Zugang, beraubte einen Gast und verschwand unbescholten nach einem kurzen Dialog mit einem Kellner. Einer seiner Kolleginnen schöpfte zu spät Verdacht und machte die Gäste aufmerksam offenbar zu spät. Wenig später rückte die Polizei an und vernahm einige Personen. Zur Verwunderung aller Anwesenden blieb der Besitzer dem ganzen fern und ließ sich auch im weiteren Verlauf nicht blicken. Gibt es das? Sollte er sich nicht wenigstens kurz bei seinem beraubten Gast nach dessen Wohlergehen erkundigen? Bei allem Mitgefühl hatten wir jedoch einen schönen Abend und werden sicher wiederkommen."

"Nachdem wir in der Außengastronomie gespeist und gezahlt hatten, erschien uns der veranschlagte Betrag wesentlich zu hoch. Daher wandten wir uns im Lokal an die Wirtin mit der Bitte die Sache zu überprüfen und aufzulisten, denn eine Rechnung hatten wir nicht erhalten. Das lehnte sie ab mit der Begründung, sie habe jetzt keine Zeit dafür, sie müsse sich um ihre Gäste kümmern, stellte aber gleichzeitig die Behauptung auf, dass sie korrekt abgerechnet habe und warf uns 10 € auf die Theke, was ja doch eher auf ein schlechtes Gewissen schließen lässt. Da es uns in erster Linie auf die korrekte Abrechnung ankam, und ich einwarf, dass sie in der Zeit, in der sie hier lange rede, längst die Posten hätte auflisten können und wir weiterhin eine Überprüfung der Angelegenheit wünschten, wurde sie pampig und wollte die 10 € wieder einstecken. Nachdem sie behauptete, dass sie sich nichts nachsagen ließe, erwiderte ich, dass sie dies wohl müsse, wenn sie nicht bereit sei, die Sache klarzustellen. Daraufhin verwies sie uns lautstark des Lokals und dass wir es nie wieder zu betreten hätten. Dies haben wir ohnehin nicht vor. Eine Person, die die Kontrolle verliert, stellt sich selbst ein Armutszeugnis aus. Eine Wirtin mit Niveau hätte die Situation, in der es überhaupt keine Veranlassung zur Eskalation gab, souverän mit freundlichem Entgegenkommen gemeistert und dem Wunsch des Gastes entsprochen."

"Wir haben letztes Jahr mit ca 20 Personen unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort abgehalten und kommen dieses Jahr wieder. Das Essen war super, wir hatten 5 gemischte Vorspeisenplatten bestellt, das war das Einfachste für die Küche , alle waren restlos begeistert und pappesatt. Der Wein war lecker, die Bedienung total nett und preiswert war es auch noch. Die Besitzerin kocht selber, der Sohn bedient.. Einen kleinen Negativpunkt hatten wir. Wir hatten für 19 Uhr bestellt und da stand auch schon das Essen auf dem Tisch, obwohl sie Leute erst nach und nach eintrudelten. Es tat dem Abend aber keinen Abbruch, dieses Jahr haben wir den Tisch für 19 Uhr reserviert , das Essen aber erst für 19.30 bestellt. Da sollte man drauf achten, wenn man mit einer größeren Gruppe kommt. Wir freuen uns schon auf die diesjährige Feier"

"I arrived at this German pub with 3 work colleagues as we were wanting some drinks and a meal. The weather was warm but was raining hard however people were still sitting on the terrace under large umbrellas so we thought we'd join them. We found a empty table which was wet as it was slightly outside of the cover so we moved the table about 30 centimetres back under the cover, dried the seats, sat down and started reading the menu, at this point things go wrong. The waitress came rushing over to tell us we must move the table back as she can no longer pass it, however there was room for a bus to get past! She proceeded to tell us we must sit in the rain. She was extremley rude to the point other customers were embarresed of the attitude she had with us. We explained to her that her customer service was disgusting and we left. I will never go here again, if any mangement are reading this then the lady working outside on the evening of 11/07/17 needs a good stern word as she lost you good custom and was a embaresment to your pub. We instead found a lovely bar with great food not far away and spent around 250 euro. Your loss!"

"We stayed in Neuss during a visit to Düsseldorf and found Anatolia during a walk. The menu is super extensive and full of options packaging, kebabs, grilled meat, Turkish pizza...and you can either sit on the back, or order food to take away. The staff is very Syrian or Kurdish and we ordered in a mix of English, German and Turkish. The portion sizes were huge and the food was delicious plus, everything came with a side salad, fresh bread and a selection of dips. Prices are AMAZING €10 for a huge dish of grilled chicken, rice and vegetables. The food was so good at the first night that we came back in our second night and ate even more!"

"Das Essen war in Ordnung aber preislich durchaus drüber! Mit dem Service waren wir eher nicht zufrieden! Reservierung verpeilt, also Katzentisch mitten im Raum. Leere Gläser/ Karaffen wurden ignoriert, so dass man immer wieder betteln musste um Nachschub zu bekommen. Temperatur im Raum viel zu warm. Hat man auf Missstände hingewiesen wurden diese beleidigt bagatellisiert. Das Bier war konsequent mindestens einen Zentimeter unter Markierung. Der Wein war jedoch sehr lecker und das Brot war warm. Nachtrag zu Ihrer Antwort: da scheint dann reservierungstechnisch bei jemand anderem Ähnliches passiert zu sein!? Ohne Bestätigung ist ja klar dass man keinen Tisch erwarten kann aber wir haben zur Sicherheit NATÜRLICH angerufen und eine Zusage Ihrerseits erhalten!!!!"

"the "monte grande" offers space for small and also larger groups. Nevertheless, the cleverly designed space division conveys a cozy ambiente and offers sufficient possibilities for the entire spectrum from trauter diligence to sociable rounds. the menu is extensive and not disappointed by the visitor's expectations: from salatbuffet, a starter selection, fish and very extensive meat dishes to desserts, no desires remain open, which awaits a gast of a steakhouse. from the order to the moment when the food is on the table, only a short time span passes. the service is routined friendly, fast and attentive. the ordered grill plate is visually perfect, the quantity more than sufficient and the best - it tastes really delicious. just as you can look forward to professionally prepared grill. all tipp topp. as an all-satisfied guest I leave this restaurant for the first time today and will certainly come back here once again if I have a really tasty, grilled meat or steak prepared on the spot."

"Nachdem wir 2017 hier schon einmal schlecht gegessen hatten, wollen wir dem Wirt eine zweite Chance geben. Das Ambiente ist nett, das Angebot ist ok, und das Lokal ist nah. Wir hätten es wissen müssen. Drei Personen, drei Gerichte, drei Reinfälle. Wieder einmal. Spaghetti mit Steinpilzen weitgehend geschmackfrei, ebenso Risotto mit Steinpilzen. Die Spaghetti lang und kurz, was das Essen nicht gerade vereinfachte. Der servierte Haase bestand fast nur aus kleinen Knochen. Und als wir dem Wirt ein Handzeichen gaben, um noch Espresso zu bestellen, kam ungefragt die Gesamtrechnung. Unser Wunsch getrennt zu zahlen, wurde kommentiert, das müsse man vor der Bestellung sagen. Schließlich seien wir nicht im Brauereiausschank. Allerdings konnten wir dann doch getrennt zahlen. Der offene Rotwein war zwar ok, aber eine Auswahl gab es auch nicht. Es gibt wesentlich bessere Italiener in Neuss, wie wir finden, und vor allem freundlichere."

"we had been looking forward to a super evening and a super burger. we sat at the bar, after just about 5 minutes someone came. no hello no good night no nothing, do you not say hello anymore? the best he was standing there and just said nothing, nothing about what they want to drink or eat!!! We had then ordered as an appetizer bruschetta and once pizza rolls, there was no thanks for the order neither the order was repeated, he simply went unconventional!!!The appetizer came, pizza rolls were good but the bruschetta, neither salt or pfeffer on it, no basilikum no wobble. I could have done a dead brot at home! after we had eaten and eaten the appetizers, we decided to go and not eat a burger when such unfriendly staff running around doesn't taste eating!"

"I don't want to miss out for a long time, but I added a tripadvisor account to the riverside restaurant in the swissotel. I can't remember eating so badly at all. we are sitting on the table and have not been able to grasp it. first floor bad, second went back because really not edible. We've never done that before, but it just didn't. tasteful and qualitatiw a complete full catastrophe. as compensation there was the coffee free. for a restaurant of the rather upscale price class absolutely disappointing, service inadequate. Total note 6."

"I was here for the second time, rather a secret tip with plenty of space and very good food. Very attentive service, great wine recommendation. If you are looking for a quiet and cozy restaurant in and around Reuschenberg, also for business meetings, it has been found here! The dishes are served very appealing. Here I will gradually eat through the interesting menu. However not quite cheap, price performance but absolutely OK."

"the interior of the house upper yard reminds of a good old restaurant. many protective suits have their wake-up place here. in summer you can sit on the terrace to the street outside. not always very idyllic, through the crossing, but we are also in the middle of the city!The menu is not particularly large, but more than enough. the carving with pommes and salat is very good and more than sufficient. but also the bauernomelette is very good. there are changing day specialties. all in all a good starting point to eat something honest once (with friends) with a glass beer or a partie cone."
