"Lunch with another couple ended with two of us being ill with food poisoning. The two of us who contracted food poisoning both chose Steak with stilton salad. Within 24 hours we were very ill with in my case repeated vomiting and violent stomach cramps for 8 hours and my wife's friends husband being ill for a further 12 hours. Will never go back to the Raven and only a cursory email apology from the manager when I complained. I'm not sure what form of food poisoning this was because neither of us sought medical assistance and managed to brave it out at home. It was very unpleasant and I hope no one else was similarly affected. The date of our meal was 2nd August 2024."
