"There is no English menu or translations for the items on the menu. No help either. Only thing we could distinguish was Wiener schnitzel so we went with it. Had it in Germany earlier this week so we could compare. Size was the same. This time it was served with shoestring fries. In Germany we had Potato Dumplings. Here we had a tablespoon of cranberry (or current ) sauce. In Germany, it was more like 1/3 cup. It cost twice as much here as In Germany even with the conversion rate."

"The Vivace Restaurant in the Hotel Sempachersee offers great value for money. The buffet with appetizer buffet, three main courses to choose from (fish, meat, Asian) selection of vegetables and water (sparkling and still) included for CHF 19.90. The dessert cost CHF 3.50 per glass. Very high quality creams and fruit and chocolate mousse. I don't know of any other buffet in the region with this quality at such a great price..."
