"We decided to come along and join in on the Auberge's first attempt at doing a British fish and chips menu. It is to be honest not something that we would normally do but went along with our friends, as we had heard from another friend that the chef had being working hard to perfect his batter! So, result was a delicious piece of beer battered cod, served with a generous helping of thick cut chips, and peas or salad. Followed by cheddar cheese served with some salad, then apple pie French style. We enjoyed the evening in the warm and welcoming auberge."
