"Wir hatten uns auf ein Candlelight Dinner gefreut, das leider zum Reinfall wurde. Wir hatten telefonisch für das Candlelight Dinner einen Termin an einem Samstag-Abend gebucht und bei der Reservierung auch darauf hingewiesen, dass wir dafür einen Gutschein haben (war ein Geburtstagsgeschenk meiner Frau). Vor Ort erklärte uns der Servicemitarbeiter, dass es am Samstag nicht möglich ist, den Gutschein mit den bezahlten Leistungen einzulösen. Wir könnten aber aus der normalen Karte unsere Gerichte auswählen und müssten dann den Differenzbetrag zum Wert des Gutscheins zuzahlen. Wir waren sehr verärgert, weil weder auf dem Gutschein, auf der Website und auf den Werbeflyern ein Hinweis zu finden ist, dass das Candlelight Dinner samstags nicht möglich ist. Auch bei der Reservierung für Samstag hat der Mitarbeiter nicht darauf hingewiesen. So sahen wir uns gezwungen, Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Dessert und je 1 Glas Wein 0,1 aus der normalen Karte zu wählen. Den Aperitif lt. Gutschein gabs gar nicht, die enthaltene Flasche Wasser und den Espresso mussten wir extra bestellen. Am Ende war dann trotz Gutschein einiges mehr zu bezahlen! Das scheint kein Einzelfall zu sein und hat System, wie auch andere Rezensionen zeigen und diese Praktik ist der Geschäftsleitung durchaus bewusst! Wir wollten die Situation mit Herrn Rock, dem Chef des Hauses erörtern und obwohl er ständig im Restaurant umherlief, wurde nur ein Mitarbeiter zu unserem Tisch geschickt, der aber mit der Situation überfordert war. Wenn man sich als Chef einer berechtigten Kritik nicht stellt und offen mit seinen Gästen umgeht, ist dies ein Armutszeugnis und zeugt von wenig Professionalität für ein Haus mit derart hohem Anspruch!"

"I visited the Brasserie restaurant at the Le Merdien Hotel Nuremberg several times in the course of business lunches. You sit quite comfortably in this restaurant and at noon time the brasserie is little visited so you have his rest when you want to discuss things at dinner. The quality of the dishes is OK gourmet claims but are not fulfilled. However, this is not necessarily to be expected for the price called. In particular, the lunch table is comparatively quite favorable. The steaks (not listed on the lunch card) are highly recommended. The staff is very friendly but sometimes a somewhat overwhelmed impression. Here you can find a way to improve. It is also advantageous for me to find the location close to the railway station. The pedestrian zone in the historic old town is just a few steps away."

"Auf Empfehlung eines Kumpels mussten meine Freundin und ich diese Pizzeria probieren. Die Altstadt Pizzaria bietet Pizzen mit den Durchmessern 33cm und 50cm und kostet rund 10€/20€. Wir hatten eine Funghi mit Ananas (33cm und eine quattro formaggi mit Salami (33cm , dazu ne Coke und eine Mezzo (da haben sie die coole 0,33l Glasflasche . Die Pizza sah und roch fantastisch und schmeckte fast noch besser! Nicht zu geizig, aber auch nicht zu überladen belegt, der Teig ging richtig gut und knusprig auf. Sehr lecker! Service war an sich auch gut, nur musste ich Ewigkeiten warten bis ich zahlen durfte. Ein Mitarbeiter saß länger schon auf der Terrasse, rauchend, und die andere Mitarbeiterin hat sich, als ich auf eine Chance gewartet habe sie anzusprechen, einfach zu Gästen gesetzt und mit denen geredet. Fand ich nicht so geil. Preis für alles glaub ich 28€. War also voll akzeptabel für die Menge und Qualität! Alles in allem aber super essen! Immer wieder gerne"

You are instantly transported to another continent such is the vibe inside! Relatively it 's a big place. We went here for dinner and people preferred sitting outside. So if you are more of an outdoor seat person you better reserve a place beforehand. Else it 's a pretty big place inside and you 're good to go without reservations. There are some big portraits of famous Australian landscapes along with a TV where Australian beach and surfers are displayed! There are two different types of seats and the sofa seats are way more casual and comfortable than the regular chairs. What I loved was that this place is not easily visible to the first time travellers to Nürnberg and thereby doesn 't come across as touristy!! Coming to the food part, we ordered Outback in Starters. It was primarily kangaroo and it tasted too good. The cocktail Tasmanian Devil was sweet and mild. The Strong Drink Long Island Ice Tea was full of flavours and I would recommend this!! For mains, the Bondi Beach Seafood Pasta which consisted of spaghetti, mussels, tiger prawns, octopus and cherry tomatoes looked deceptively plain but turned out to be delicious!! And the Ostrich Burger which was a new thing for us turned out to be great (I missed to take the photograph but it was a large one). By the time we had all of this, we were so full and no way could we try the desserts!! But definitely going back to this place soon!!"

"We picked out this Thai restaurant which was located very close to the Adina Hotel and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience.We found to food to be very genuine Thai and well prepared and fresh. Most of all, they were very delicious and we had a very fulfilling meal for a reasonable price.The one thing lacking was the ambience which definitely could be updated to be more contemporary especially for the sidewalk dining area. The Italian restaurant next door was booming with customers solely because it offers a much more up to date decor and seating.I think the restaurant could be a success if the owner hire a design consultant for a little improvements in decor.Food was definitely tasty and good value!"

"Ihr Gastronomen müsst eines verstehen viele Menschen die bei euch bestellen tun dies nicht nur aus Hunger.. für manche Menschen ist es vielleicht 1 mal im Monat eine Freude seine Kinder und Familie zur beglücken was vom Restaurant zu bestellen und sich das überhaupt leisten zu können. Und wenn ihr das nicht mit Herz und Seele macht dann ist es in meinen Augen einfach nur falsch und schlecht. Ich habe in vielen Restaurants gegessen und noch nie so eine Portion oder Qualität bekommen... Für 14,90€ für erwarte ich keinen Kalbfleisch aber wenigstens die Portionen sollen gut sein, ...aber bei diese kleine Kinder Portion muss ich nur die Augen zu machen. Kunde für Kunde werdet ihr so verlieren. Ich bestelle nie wieder bei euch ... Schon mal 100-150€ in monat weniger die von meiner Tasche in eure geht."

"Ich war nun schon zweimal hier, weil ich Pommes liebe. Die Kombinationen mit Fleisch, Gemüse und diversen Saucen sind sehr vielfältig zusammengestellt. Für mich fleischlos unterwegs ist die Auswahl eher eingeschränkt. Mir wurde aber versichert, dass ich Fleisch auch einfach durch Falafel ersetzen lassen kann, habe es aber noch nicht ausprobiert. Die Jungs hinter der Theke sind total freundlich, sehr flott und man kann sich auch trotz Maske gut verständigen. Das Ambiente ist im Industrial Style gehalten, teilweise nicht wirklich bequem und die Musik ist vielleicht etwas nervig. Aber das mag individuell unterschiedlich wahrgenommen werden. Die Portionen werden in braunen Pappschalen ansprechend garniert präsentiert. Ich hatte zuletzt eine Variante mit Sour Cream, Guacamole (sehr lecker! selbstgemacht? und Tomatenwürfeln (sollte Salsa sein, kenne ich anders . Das hat echt gut geschmeckt und besonders wichtig die Pommes waren auch ganz unten bzw. bis zum Schluss noch warm und kross. Daher finde ich das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis in Ordnung. Ich schaue auf jeden Fall wieder auf eine Portion Pommes mit mehr vorbei!"

"Very nice and especially good host house. Great location, below the castle. In the evening the best views of the castle, beautifully illuminated. In beautiful weather, more than 200 people will sit in the square before, around Albrecht Dürer 's monument ' The Hase ' . The food and beers are very good. The prices are OK. Nice to sit inside and outside. 2017 completely renovated, 2018 new opening."

"we had visited from düsseldorf and I asked a colleague he could recommend in the north of nürnberg, his answer "gaststätte marienberg, there are all good, best are the calzone, but also German and Franconian dishes are good. So I went with the hospitable, that is something hidden behind the BMW dealer at the end of the snow garden. we were received and supplied with drinks. the beer garden is very nice among large trees in the middle of the park. the selection of food and drinks is impressive. at the first visit the visit has eaten an insalata tacchino and I have a pizza. both very rich, tasty and cheap. during the second visit we decided to freeze with potato salad, even that was delicious and cheap. when eating so pleasant, the service is so pleasant, then they also sit a little longer and enjoy another (or several) half additionally. both paint a successful evening and I'm sure if the visitor wants to come back, he wants to go. another tip for the parking lot, the easiest way to get to the side of the kilian road (before the Kurt-Ahles small garden) enough parking is available."

"We happened upon this restaurant and decided to eat here based on what looked like eclectic offerings of locally-sourced food, not German or Austrian fare, per se. So imagine my very pleasant surprise that this restaurant had--hands down--the best wiener schnitzel of all of my travels throughout Austria and Germany. It just had a very fresh taste with very well seasoned breadcrumbs, not bland. The parsnip soup was delicious too, as was the hot chocolate. Our waiter was very kind and attentive despite being clearly overworked that day! This is a restaurant you might easily overlook--but shouldn't."

"for work an dinner with 30 people but delicious dishes. the chef knows and that cook is also perfect for many people. Delicious and well presented first courses, a perfectly prepared wolf barschfilet (it seems easy to be, but it is not), not cooked, not unmade, just perfect. I can't say anything about the price, because I didn't pay anything, but for the quality of eating a slightly above average price would even be justified. on my trips abroad I never eat in Italian restaurants, I like to try the local cuisine, but I will definitely return to this place alone."

"the sebald has been there forever - and always in the first league. we were after years of break since dez 2016 - juli 2017 now again 3 times for dinner. eating is really, really top french bistro kitchen. It is striking that all the foods are excellent but unobtrusively seasoned. the card has classic - but also great changing dishes. the appetizer with giant lemon slices and gambas is world class. the rib-eye from the Franconian angus on the "medium point". sebald salat was the best salat he ever had after the announcement of my foreign hospitable. fish juicy on the point, which supplements with taste, neat butter on everything :-), French just. salate all with great dressing, good wine selection, raised but the quality reasonable prices.The device is - let's say - classic unchanged for years, but noble and beautifully covered. very charming the insurgent piano player. From there you sit on the road, but ok, in other big cities, this is also so and in the evening the road is quieter. for this you are also in the Burgviertel.The service varies depending on the person. from the super dedicated one who manages to organize everything even in the greatest hectic, to the service power that lets you sit first properly, which brings wee late and somehow overwhelms. but in total this can happen and I must say that eating is compensated. we will not wait years more to join. it is recommended for me in the category blind."

"This restaurant is right down the street from the infamous Zepplin Tribune and rally grounds. It sits right on the lake and has great food and cold beer. You can sit either inside or on the deck for waitress service, or order from the beer...and food booth and sit on the numerous park benches by the water. Not much English spoken, but we got lucky because our waitress had spent a year as an exchange student at CSU in Ft. Collins, Colorado. If you are an American looking for that perfect German Beer garden with the right mix of food, drink, and ambiance, this is the place."

"there we were again (probably never again.) for the little starving in between it was right that we had put one stop. I once again wanted to eat my hot beloved rubbing cake (in French excavators). aside from the rather mediocre service, it was a cheeky thing that was offered to me. well 30 minutes after the order, something was served on the table, which I interpreted more than apfelbeignets. baggers with powdered sugar and orange slice?. I gave it back. 2 minutes later the food came back without powder sugar, and the excavators should be decapitated as a fiasko. these consisted of a not to be defined teig (I guess crunchy) and tasted with verifiably as scratched from the mülltonne. where I come from (Rhineland) you would be stoned for such a cheeky!!!Also dear owners. if your chef doesn't know how to make excavators, then it's better to say there's no one. with the mum that you have served me, you are spoiled."
