"I would give 0 star but unfortunately this option is not available. We have seen the great reviews of this place and since we love pizza, we wanted to give it a try. Together with my wife and years old child, we drove tonight...from Strasbourg and arrived around hrs. We found a table straight away, although the place was superbusy. Actually in mins after we arrived, people were queuing at the entrance, which only shows how sought after this place is. Also, the atmosphere was good, lots of happy faces and good energy. That's when the disaster started. Firstly, we were seated at a big table alongside few other people, which we didn't mind, as we could see how full the place was. What was weird, was that waiters moved rows of customers from our table in minutes and we could see also other people raised from their tables in order to efficiently occupy the space to the maximum. Even though a little bit awkward, the atmosphere was friendly and the customers didn't seem bothered. We ordered beers one large and small, unfortunately being told that they don't serve small beers?! Ok, as I said everything was positive, so we didn't mind, we took two large beers, although my wife doesn't drink that much. We ordered two pizzas and could see ourselves still waiting after hour. Actually, at the one hour and minutes mark, I asked for another beer : they know what they are doing. Anyway, the atmosphere was still good and we didn't mind. After around and mins wait without being told when we ordered that the wait is that long, the pizzas arrived. Absolute shock! My wife's Vegetarian Pizza didn't have any mushrooms and my Quattro Stagione was actually a Duo Stagione only ham and olives!!!. No mushrooms, no artichokes. I was speechless. I wanted to speak to the waiter but I had to wait for another minutes till I could grab him, as he left pizzas and ran to other tables. I explained to him, he took the pizza, came back after minutes and admitted that they have no mushrooms but he could put artichokes and green peeper. Since I was exhausted by then, I said that's fine not a problem. Meanwhile, my wife and child were starving, they started to eat the pizza even if it was a Vegetarian with onions, peppers and mushrooms That was all! During my next wait another minutes I was wondering if they will make a new pizza or add ingredients to the old one? Even if the second option, I was saying in my mind that I will take it, I was pissed of at that moment. Of course, the second option was the chosen one, the waiter came back with same pizza I knew it as I started slicing it initially only on one side but what do you know?! the green peppers and artichokes were indeed abundant, however they were raw and the pizza was stone cold!!!! So what they did, they took it, threw the RAW VEGETABLES on it and brought it back! Without even heating it! I have to say that was the completion of my most disgusting dinner experience ever! I travel to so many places, not all my experiences were great but what happened tonight is beyond any imagination. The final shot was when we stood up, I took the pizza all the way to the kitchen, handed it in and advised that it was cold and vegetables raw and asked for the bill. I paid the bill and expressed my disgust toward this horrible experience toward the guy whom I was paying probably the master waiter ... who smiled very relaxed at me and said : I'm sorry! How can this be possible? It was the absolute humiliation. Their attitude was like 'we don't give a sh it about you, we have customers waiting in the queue to spend their money in here'. It is shocking, disgusting and incredible attitude. They might have thousands of customers but for sure they will not have me or my wife ever crossing their door. Even though many of the clients of this place are really happy, hence the reviews, I am sure that what happened to us tonight was not the first time or a mistake. That was despise towards the customers due to business doing too good"

"I should begin by saying my main, the chicken chili tasted good, although not so much chicken pieces in it mainly paprika and onions. So this is the plus side over and with the downside. 1. We are ordered on a budget so the...the best bottle of white wine from the menu that costs €19.50 so not so cheap really the waitress said she had not thought that they would have, but would check them. A few minutes later a chap appeared and said they didn't, but all the other white wines that all cost at least 10 €. We then ask for the cheapest red, which also costs €19,50 and the same answer only the more expensive in stock. We did not say too expensive at what point we offered another wine that was not on the list at the same price as our original choice. 2. My wife ordered onions bahjis and I ordered the samosas. What had arrived was not like anything we ever had in an Indian restaurant where we had eaten before. The Bahjis were like onion rings hardly spices and the Samosas looked like a small pyramid shaped palate with soggy dough. 3. I finished my starter 1. I eat faster than my wife. Once I finished, the waitress appeared and told me the request to remove the cutlery from my plate to use for the main course. I really asked, and she answered again, so I said seriously and again Yes came the answer. The waitress went away with my starter plate and returned with my head and wife before she even finished her starter. Too bad it is a beautiful place and the main tasted well everything missing in meat. Needless to say, we will not return and I wish we decided elsewhere to eat now. My advice is sure that the curry is good, but the rest of garbage eat elsewhere many places to choose from"

"We often hear of the delights of an English country garden, however, it is not often you come by a beautiful pub/restaurant garden. Here in this nice corner of Germany I came across, many years ago, what must be the nicest garden I have ever...seen outside of tourist localities. Outside of tourist localities also gives it a wonderful advantage because here you sit down with a German population out enjoying themselves, for a few nice beers and very good food, at a very reasonable price. I went with my wife, Pascale, and a few friends last week, and, as always we were very satisfied. It is where I always bring my Irish family and friends. Last week I was inviting an English new friend, living in Strasbourg, and I knew he would enjoy more the 'beer' atmosphere' of this restaurant as opposed to a 'wine atmosphere' found in France. And yes he did... We started off with a wonderful Weiss beer, followed by a local favourite from a nearby brewery in Offenburg. A wonderful flammenkuchen was shared by us all and we (males) opted for the mixed grill which was thoroughly enjoyed. A Pear Williams rounded off the evening meal and wonderful conversation. Staff, even if under pressure, are always very friendly with a nice level of working English if needed. You also get a wonderful impression of the German family culture out for a relaxing evening. They offer a very nice menu and very well priced. Large beers, Pear Williams are priced at euros and food prices vary from to euros approx. If with kids there is a little space where they can play. On a nice summer's evening after a long walk in the nearby Rhine Forest...this is Germany at its most enjoyable"
