"Famous, having noticed that each room in the center was full, we decide to try the 'Bistrot '. An uninviting entrance certainly stops us in enthusiasm, but we choose to listen to hunger and enter. We are greeted by a kind and helpful waiter, dressed frankly embarrassingly. The clothes, with the coat of arms of the bistro, stand out for the style of the great American fast food chain, but in the Khrushchyovka trash version. That doesn't stop us either. We sit down. We will live an experience at the limits of the surreal. The waiter asks us what we want to drink, informs us about the existence of a fixed menu and, without specifying what you understand, moves away. He comes back with a cold meat appetizer, something sad that I do not remember. The first is not forgotten: spaghetti alla carbonara. They vaguely recall the recipes of delicious, those of the social pages made in use. The spaghetto swims leggiadro on a lake of cheese, probably cream and some vague memory of eggs. The oil well below the dough reminds us of the concept of emulsion. The pasta, slightly hot, manages to move me. It reminds me of the first time we tried, miserably failing, to cook on our own. Poetry. Then comes the second: pork loin. A disproportionate amount of lonza. They do it exactly like my mother's. She hates cooking. It is pleasantly untied by the seasoning, unfairly dry and seems to have been thawed after a geological era, like Stallone in Demolition Man. The chicory is edible, great praise to the chef! I start thinking about suggesting a vegan turn to the owner, when the dessert arrives. Dry cookies. And as they said in Matrix: “Biscuits, like anything, require love”...or a euro envelope at the discount. I'm afraid the second case is more likely. Before leaving the club, I decide for a rest in the bathroom. I walk in and to my left I see the waiter, in his underwear, who stands for the end of the shift. It doesn’t matter if there are still people, no matter if there is the door open, he, like us, can’t wait to escape. Please note in conclusion is the account. 11 euros per head, that, for an unparalleled experience, are really few.
