"We stayed in Ostuni for a week with the family and booked this restaurant for an evening meal The restaurant is below ground in what was once a shelter and dwelling. Air temperature dropped a few degrees from street temperature Staff were excellent, very welcoming and navigated us through the menu We shared anti pasta, selection of fish which was delicious. All the mains were excellent, spaghetti Vongole a great dish. Red wine from the region was excellent. The restaurant is a good few steps down from the street, hence you will need to consider if you have anyone with mobility challenges Great restaurant would go back if in the area"

"Positives The starters were fine basically cheese and meats. And smashed beans which my husband thought were delicious. Lovely setting and waitresses. Negatives The pasta course was inedible- pasta over cooked, no sign of the zucchini and zucchini flowers in the promised pasta with zucchini ,zucchini flowers and bacon just an overly salty horrible pasta dish. I just couldn’t eat it. I rarely complain but when asked if I enjoyed the hardly touched meal I did say I couldn’t eat it as it was too salty. To be fair the waitress did offer to remake it but my meal had been spoilt. My husbands pasta dish was only slightly better. We both returned almost uneaten pasta meals. The dishes came to €29 this expenditure did not seem reasonable. As we were paying the bill we were asked had we enjoyed the meal- did they even need to ask? The pasta dishes were uneaten and revolting. Coupled with the trek to reach the restaurant we would definitely NOT recommend this establishment- don’t waste your money."

"Focacceria barese situata nel centro di Torre Santa Sabina. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Prodotti eccellenti. Si trova sia il pane che i taralli, l'ottima focaccia farcita in ogni modo oltre alla classica pugliese alta e morbidissima. Si trova anche altro cibo da asporto buonissimo come polpette e parmigiana. Io ho adorato il panzerotto:frittura ottima e ripieno squisito. Da provare assolutamente. Anche il dolce è ben rappresentato... Ho assaggiato il tipico pasticciotto e i loro cornetti:ottimi. Se siete da queste parti dovete assolutamente passare da questa focacceria."

"Set price for a glass of vinegar red wine and tasteless pasta. Tomato and cheese pasta was watery with a sprinkling of cheese. The fish marginally better but not sure what fish was supposed to be used possibly the one from we cater for tourist so don’t really give a dam pond. They say you can’t have a bad meal in Italy well guess what...."

"Provato ieri sera a cena con la mia morosa. Abbiamo preso una caprese e una Caesar salad, e poi un paio di frise. Subito i tempi di attesa sembravano un pochino lunghi, ma quando i piatti sono arrivati in tavola è stato un grande piacere poterli gustare con calma. Io in particolare sono rimasto entusiasta della Frisa Agrodolce, della quale ho dovuto chiedere il bis, non perché avessi fame, ma per quanto era buona. La consiglio vivamente a chiunque abbia occasione di mangiare in questo posto. Il personale è stato sempre molto cordiale e al termine della cena ci hanno offerto i caffè, forse perché ispiravamo simpatia ahah. Ad ogni modo, Vini Spuntini ha soddisfatto a pieno le nostre richieste ed esigenze per la cena. Complimenti ancora!"

"Food was great — I had meat on the bone +roasted potatoes) with local red Puglian wine as well. The atmosphere is also calm and chilaxing. But I think it is slightly overpriced. 35-42 is the proper pricing for what I got, definitely not 52. In Lecce I had same experience in the old town city center and it cost almost twice less. "Did I fear the worst when we settled on this place on a very crowded evening, mostly because my mother in law couldn't walk anymore? I sure did. But after a wait which had very little to do with the restaurant's staff (mostly lovely and accommodating), I was very pleasantly surprised by the food on offer. Of our travels in Puglia, this remains one of the better meals we had, with pasta in particular that manages to stand out. Service: Dine in"

"A birthday treat for a friend the restaurant knew weeks beforehand but no real acknowledgement. The menu is relatively limited, but the quality of the food was fair to very good. Ambiance pleasant but sticky tables with grease (possibly used for guests' breakfasts ? . A tablecloth would have covered up the bare wooden, sticky table. Expensive at €215 for 2 people with no dessert and a modest bottle of wine. Staff efficient, a little over attentive at times. Overall nice food, pleasant surroundings but pricey."

"Il ristorante é davvero in una bella stradina tipica di Ostuni, un clima meraviglioso soprattutto di sera con quelle luci che rendono il tutto magnifico e molto romantico, il personale é davvero gentile e cordiale. É la mia seconda volta qui e non si é smentito, anche meglio della prima volta! Il cibo é ottimo, consiglio vivamente! La mia ragazza ha apprezzato molto! Lo adoro! Consiglio il tortelli di burrata, una crema!"
