"Thanks to Tripadvisor we discovered this restaurant, conveniently near the motorway, on our way south from the Cote Sauvage. Its location beside the Garonne is picturesque, with plenty of tables under the dappled shade of huge plane trees. A large family party was already assembled...but we nevertheless had excellent, efficient and friendly service. The menu offered a variety of tempting dishes and when we noticed sweetbreads served with ceps and girolles, we were thrilled. They were superbly cooked and plentiful. Here's a photo! We also experienced our first bottle of Clairet (not to be confused with Claret), a pink wine, deeper in colour than rosé, that has been produced in the Bordeaux region for centuries. We hope to return here next summer and we highly recommend this restaurant to others."
