"Nous avons déjeuné ce midi dans ce restaurant où tout a été parfait. De l'accueil, du service aux petits soins, mais ce que nous avons préféré ce sont nos plats. Nos entrées: un excellent début. Tartare de Thon, Mouclade de Moules, on se dit que si les plats sont du même genre on va se régaler. Et ben c'est encore mieux que ça! Poisson du jour et joues de boeuf Juste délicieux. J'ai fini par les profiterolles maison qui sont extra! Le jour où nous reviendrons à Rochefort, nous serons où allez manger car je veux goûter à vos ris de veau qui on l'air succulents. "The place is really very beautiful both outside and inside. The reception is perfect and the very interesting demonstrations. "This is a restaurant I highly recommend. You will find a warm and friendly welcome. The room is small and it is imperative to book, if you cannot respect your reservation it is always friendly and correct to phone in order to warn that you can not come. During our passage a table of 6 had been held and no one showed up because the boss refused the world and thus lost money. The Mets served are excellent and super well prepared. As far as I'm concerned, I ordered a tartar of citrus daurade, which I note 20/10. Then a Rossini beef fillet with a bucket sauce, a slaughter I enjoyed. My other guests were not disappointed too. The rates are a little high, but it is justified. In short, it's a sure value I confirm."

"Reservation made for 14 people approximately 1 week before the dinner. Pleasant welcome on the phone and finalization of a meal for the whole group. This November 4 the storm is raging in the town of Rochefort, we take the trouble to call to find out if the service is maintained. We were told OK, so we went there despite the risk. We were well received, but the chosen meal was served with a slingshot. Aperitif served, starter plate (hot) already on the table, last bite swallowed, that's already the main course, and immediately dessert, coffee and the bill. After discussion with the staff, they informed us of problems with flooding in the kitchen, and they wanted to serve us hot dishes, hence this rush. We would have preferred to be informed of this setback upon our arrival, we would have understood, but there we were not very friendly in our discussions, reflections were made. Too bad, because we think the meal could have been enjoyed if it had been composed as we went along."

"Bad experience at the culinary level, I have difficulty understanding the rating of this establishment and the reviews.. Our table was placed not far from the kitchen where we heard the microwave running at full speed during the hour we ate. -Two Bo-Bun as a starter, the spring roll is clearly frozen and the quantity of beef was ridiculous compared to the photos you can see on the site. -Salmon steak in a dish, clearly also frozen, white rice and it's worth saying so because there was no seasoning with it and I recognized the 3 minute microwave rice in a bag so at home it's fine but at the restaurant I don't understand. Vegetables to accompany without special interest. We therefore did not have dessert following this good tasting. In summary 2 x Starter-main course mostly frozen a glass of white wine (low-end) and a bottle of beer for €60. I think it's not worth the price and I think it's a shame to use the microwave friend so much. The lady's welcome was in any case smiling and pleasant so that's always a good point."

"Very disappointing. When we're at the bottom of the room, it's pretty oppressive. Tables rather close, we don't really enjoy the view. Too bad. Only the seaside tables are pleasant but I imagine taking on. we booked three days before and we were badly placed when on the dish. We tasted the anus burger. No interest. among the cheapest burgers I ate. Very cooked meat when I asked for bleeding. cheddar and bacon in slice of supermarket without taste and poorly cooked. Burned bread on top. children's flat. 9 euros for 1 concrete steak while ordered bleeding. positive points (I found only 2): fries are home and very good on the other hand and the adorable waitresses"

"A little disappointed, very good Google rating, 5/5 at Trip. Nice reception, map presentation, amusing mouth, plancha to taste aperitif... Come the reception of the dish, for me a requested blue tin that arrives to a point, my daughter a requested burger bleeding that arrives to a point too. Cooking is not controlled So, of course, I informed the waitress (patronne I think) that it is proposed to change the meat. I refused because I hate to waste and even less meat. A little pity, addition not far from 80€ to 3....with a new beaujolais to 15€."

"L'endroit est superbe face au bateaux, nous avions mangés auparavant pour la fete des meres au restaurant du proprietaire et nous avions souhaité essayer de nouveau les moules pres du port. L'année passée tout etait parfait. Cette année , l'accueil n'était pas tres chaleureux, pourtant peu de monde, les moules au chorizo n'étaient pas les memes, beaucoup d'eau moins de gout, un peu déçue . Je viens avec des amis chaque année sur rochefort.Le prix est acceptable et le vin proposé etait correct. Cadre super. Par contre le fait de débarasser et de trier"

"Excellent cuisine, inventive and charming menu, perfect service. Only small flat the music a little too present and deserve to be more subtle in genre than the French variety. The atmosphere of the restaurant can be enough for itself, or a soundtrack but the songs were too “radio” and not enough “neutre”. Excellent restaurant where we are never disappointed!"

"We took a meal at noon. I appreciate getting away from the tourist areas and I often look for pasta for the child menu. We were very well received. The waiter was kind and helpful. the waitress very attentive to our 3-year-old son. Everyone ate well: the bologna pasta for the little girl, my granddaughter and her father took a very good and hearty pizza, and I am a fermière salad. I don't understand a few negative opinions posted on this restaurant. I didn't get that feeling. Good luck to the whole team."

"Very good little restaurant. Simple cuisine but with quality products: the meat is very tender and super good, the homemade fries are homemade!. Very good desserts too. The waitresses are nice. The ideal place to warm up in these winter weather! We will return! Perhaps in spring or summer to enjoy the terrace which overlooks a small lake."

"This place lives up to its name. We are in Rochefort and when we push the door we enter one of those bistro restaurants in the old halls of Paris. For me Proust's madeleine and childhood memories guaranteed. And what's more, we enjoy the boss' banter and good humor."

"Breakfast in France is not like we have it in Belgium. Mostly it is a coffee and a croissant on the go, some baguette with butter and jam but nothing more. We were looking for a 'petit dejeuner' as we had arrived to camp late the night before and had not been able to do some shopping. I asked one of the waitresses if they served breakfast and got a positive answer, so we took a seat but we had to wait for a long, long time before somebody came to take the order. Okay, the girl had to manage the whole terrace at that time but people who only had a coffee also had to be patient even if they had asked for what they wanted. And the breakfast was more than € 5 for a coffee and a croissant or pain chocolat. No possibility to ask for an egg or some charcuterie. A pity! It was a nice terrace though and the 'menu du jour' looked allright."
