"There are creperies by the thousand in Brittany but they are definitely not all the same. This place has a nice atmosphere with it's large high ceilinged timber roofed dining area. La Gavotte is family run and you can see the chef making the galettes as you dine. Menu is fairly short but to my mind the better for it as each one is a favourite. some interesting and different fillings and as everything is freshly made on the spot the flavours are that much more satisfying. Friendly pleasant spot with nice views over the Nantes a brest canal and local park."

"Just wanted to warn in advance that dogs are not permitted. Looks like a lovely place, we were hoping to eat here, but travel with our little dog. Place looks good but I think they have a resident cat. Don’t plan to visit if you have a dog with you."
