"Como siempre, ¡una experiencia fantástica! Con unas vistas inigualables a la Badía de Rosas desde su terraza para disfrutar de una maravillosa comida. Un equipo de sala agradable y atento en todo momento. La comida de 10! Productos frescos, preparados respetando el producto. Buñuelos perfectos, su textura, su mezcla de sabores dulces y salados. Los calamares, en esta ocasión, no nos encantaron, el rebozado no estaba muy acertado . El arroz marinero, sublime. Su sabor y su punto de cocción perfecto. ¡Un lugar donde nos encanta volver!"

"I have lived in catalunya for ten years and now I want to be back in the emporda near roses. it was wonderful to find this caffe that is in santa margarida on the coast and the vegetarian and vegan...food that I have been vegetarian for over forty years and a vegan for just one, but I remember when the uk was almost totally free from vegetarian option and we had to have omelette or salat and chips. it is sad that this often the situation here in catalunya, outside the cities, there are rarely any mention of vegetarian options. So, cafe this was a gift from the sky and although I was only there twice I am sure I am a regular visitor. there is such a fill of wonderful fruit and vegetables and nuts in this region all grows here lenses, rice, white beans, tomatoes, paprika, courgettes, lemons, apples and so on. my dream is that there is a day option for plant-based food in any land restaurant and caffe. but while I dream, cafe this is a friendly welcome here and a real menu that has the word vegan up! we had hummus, that was delicious and made clear to the house. also teller vegan burger with salad and chips"

"Hace varios años los visitamos y nos sorprendió tanto la calidad del producto que cuando regresamos a la zona regresamos para hacerles una visita. el lugar es renovado y había más personal, pero la calidad del producto y el buen servicio sigue siendo latente. Candi es un artista y está tan seguro de lo que ofrece y cómo ofrece que sale a la habitación para preguntarle a los comensales cómo fue todo. honesto con el producto y con la forma de trabajarlo. pescados y navajas a la parrilla (y otras cosas otros días pero no hay fotos xq o nos acordamos de hacerlos) no lo piensen y luego me lo digan. ahhh y pedir el cromo de jamón que no aparecen en la carta"

"Traté el menú a 19 € una mediodia y era bueno. Me encantó la entrada (pescado con manzana verde y sorbete de pepino), el plato principal era rico (un poco simple las verduras acompañantes) y nada especial el postre. pero en general, para ser el menú del día, era rico y en una bonita terraza como el personal. "Pequeño restaurante al abrigo de calles concurridas. Enseguida sientes que casi todo es casero y que el objetivo es ofrecer una comida de calidad y cantidad. Servicio rápido. "good treatment received, and good menu quality-price. We order the menu port of roses, where by 26,75 you enter 3 inks to chop and then we order a sailor paella. also the menu includes dessert. if you have to put a single one but it would be to change the Iberian sausage dish by another more “marinero” that fills this menu with anchovies and lobsters, although it should be said that the sausage was good. It was a good way to end the 3 days we were there."

"Este es un lugar, donde usted llena !!! te llenas. buena comida casera preparada con amor, incluso los espaguetis boloñeses de la chica que parecen la abuela y que compartimos entre los adultos, que no lo ha comido. "¡PARA REPETIR! Los productos son frescos y la comida está buenísima. Todo lo que pedimos nos encantó. El precio es adecuado a lo que se sirve, ya que sobre todo hay pescado y marisco. El servicio es rápido y sobre todo atento y excepcional. Nos ha tratado la mar de bien, nos ha hecho recomendaciones, ha amenizado la cena e incluso nos ha regalado un plato (el de pulpo de la foto). Además, luego le preguntamos dónde podíamos ir a tomar algo y nos acompañó hasta allí. Un 10 de camarero. Francesc, ets el millor! Les noies tossenques t’enviem una abraçada ben forta! Cenamos en una mesa en la calle, pero no es de esos sitios donde la gente te pasa casi rozando. Tienes bastante intimidad aunque estés en la calle. Cuando vuelva a Roses, no voy a dudar en repetir. Es más, ya estoy pensando en cuándo voy a llevar a mis padres."

"We have been today for dinmer after several times in the past. It’s a quite good place compared to the rest of offer in the area. It was 20.45h when they have told us to come and hour later so it was full at that moment. We have asked for gluten free dinner for my 2 years old daughter and have tryed to book. The have told us no problem for the gluten free food and no need to book, they would remember us. After one hour waiting, when we have returned, the answer has been that tonight they can’t serve us any dinner as it was all reserved. We have come back home at 10pm with no dinner eaten and the baby crying out loud. Embarrassing and the worse commitment by their side."

"We stopped off in Roses on our way to Cadaqués and chose the Iris Bar Restaurant as a place to have a bite to eat, based on TripAdvisor reviews, and were very pleased with our choice. Arriving at around 6.30pm saying we wanted to eat something, we were told by the excellent French waiter that there wouldn 't be food available for an hour, so we ordered water and a bottle of Verdejo, leaving it in an ice bucket on our outdoor table, and observed the passeggiata on the promenade as the sun was going down. When the time came, we were given menus and ordered a portion of goat 's cheese, honey and sesame seed croquetas to share, followed by gambas a la plancha and soupe de poisson. The croquetas were probably the tastiest we 've ever had, the gambas were really succulent and the soup also first-rate. I would highly recommend the Iris Bar, which is named after the flower and not to be confused with the generic Irish Bar that can be found almost everywhere now."

"We called in here as we were waiting for the wine store to open. What a great find. This is a small café where the locals call into for their morning coffee and we found a table . There is a chalkboard just to the side of the bar that has whats on offer and the owner who is a really friendly guy took our order . They do great little deals like a bocadillo of the day with a delicious coffee for less than 3 euros or large croissant and coffee for just 2 euros. There are other choice like toast/fried eggs and Spanish sausage and everything was freshly made and great quality too. They are also open till late and offer other meals as well as being bar . Place is really clean and has a great bustle to the place. So make sure you pop in and then you could get your wine/beer/sangria from the store on the corner to take home afterwards too."
