"Restaurante con un corte arquitectónico algo raro, cosa que no afecta para nada a la calidad de los platos ni lo acogedora que es la sala. El personal muy atento. Y lo más importante a la hora de comer Sushi es que la materia prima sea buena, eso lo cumple con creces. Los platos aparecen con una presentación exquisita y el sabor deja ganas de volver. Si Rota tuviera mejor aparcamiento iría con más frecuencia."

"As we read all the feedbacks here on TripAdvisor wanna try the 'El Timon '. The 'El Timon ' is at the end of the beach on the puerto. In this area the transfer by boat to Cadiz is starting too! There are many tables outside the restaurant on this big terrace! It was full at 2PM. As our main menu we ordered a tomato salad and some fresh local muscles. On my tomato salad there was a lil bit too much garlic (see the pictures). The sauce on our muscles tastes like a burnt grilled one. Maybe it is a local delicatesse with this taste but not what we like. The cakes were ok. Only the sirup matched not perfect. Prices are cheap too! FAZIT: We recommend it for eating a fresh seafood plate! Not everythink is really delicious but ol! Prices are not expensive!"

"En general, un timo, lo lamento mucho por ellos porque el trato al cliente es maravilloso, pero es carísimo. Para lo que es la comida me parece un timo en toda regla. Una ensalada muy variopinta con demasiadas cosas y que cuesta 15 euros, para ser una ensalada del Mercadona. Unas alcachofas que serían perfectamente de bote, y un lagarto muy rico la verdad, pero que para su precio no merece ni en cantidad ni en calidad. En general, te quedarás con hambre, pero lo recomiendo 100% como restaurante de copas."

"Casa Texas es un buen sitio para comer comida mexicana tejana americana por muy buen precio. Mi punctuation de 3 estrellas es basado en que el menú le hace falta una actualización. Necesita arriesgarse con nuevos platos y sabores. También digo que el sitio tiene mucho espacio, limpio, y la decoración bonita. Los equipo de trabajadores eran amables y correctos. La comida estaba buena, caliente, pero repito que le hace falta innovar sabores y platos. Casa Texas is a good place to eat Tex-mex American food for a good price. My 3-star rating is based on the menu needing an update. I believe Casa Texas needs to take risks with new dishes and flavors. I can also say that the restaurant has plenty of space, clean, and nice décor. The team of workers were friendly and correct. The food was good, hot, but once again i repeat that Casa Texas needs to innovate flavors and dishes."

"I haven 't eaten here in years and we used to like this place. I won 't come back. Nothing is hand-made. Everything is from a bottle or was frozen. Poor flavor in the burrito mojado . Nachos were nothing special. Service was the worst. We had to request many times to order food. Then, the waiter tried to give me a plate I didn 't order. I said no and he still put it in front of me. Go somewhere else. Don 't give them your money."

"I have been in Rota for eleven days thus far, and I have been each day to a different restaurant for dinner. Sometimes for lunch also. I made it a purpose to try a new one each day to sample the town all over. We have been to pizza places, fine dining, and in between. They all have been amazing, without exception! However, I have to make a special mention to this place. Whatever words I may write here does not make justice to the service I received and the quality of the food. I have been looking for a place like this where I can have an entire fish in this beach town. I inquired about and someone mentioned this place. You get to pick the fish you’d like from the seafood department like display and ask the cook the way you would like it cooked. This dish, btw, was off menu. The waitress, Ailyn, introduced us to the chef, Miguel, and he suggested to have it cooked three different ways. We went by his recommendation and tried the fish as one third grilled, one third with the house original sauce, and the remaining third was fried. To say that everything, presentation, flavor, seasoning, freshness (including the home grown tomatoes, and other local treats adorning the plate which names I don’t remember), it’s an understatement. Every single person that walked by couldn’t stop staring at our table! Such was its delicious appeal. What made it even more palatable and delightfully savory was the service. The attention is definitely a 10! Do try Tocino del Cielo at the end, it roughly translates to “bacon from heaven,” a dessert (it has nothing to do with bacon, but the name should say it all). Thank you for the hospitality guys! You made me feel at home. It was a lovely evening and I will visit you a few more times before I go."

"Pizzas riquisimas, en muchas combinan ingredientes para formar pizzas que no se encuentran en otras pizzerías de España. El precio es normal pero por lo contundentes que son, no son caras. El único inconveniente es que si pagas en efectivo te dan la vuelta en dólares, cosa que no llego a entender el motivo. Actualmente el restaurante no se encuentra donde marca en Google Maps debido a que está en obras y lo han trasladado provisionalmente, si entras desde Rota cuando llegues a la rotonda del avión gira a la izquierda y al final lo tienes"

"Atención, servicio y ambiente de categoría, la comida me ha dejado un poco defraudado, venía con la intención de probar la mejor pizza de Rota, y he de decir que he probado pizzas mejores en Rota, la masa estaba bien, la presentación también, pero le faltaba potenciar bastante el sabor. "Restaurante con gran variedad en su carta. Desde aperitivos, ensaladas, sándwiches, hamburguesas y pizzas hasta comida mexicana, japonesa y sushi. Toda la comida es de calidad y los platos con una buena presentación. El servicio es profesional y ejerce rápidamente su trabajo tanto en el restaurante como en casa. La decoración es animé y es muy original. ¡Tenemos que ir a verlo en persona, vale la pena! Como he comentado anteriormente sobre todo lo que he comido de la carta es delicioso aunque debo destacar el pollo katsu que desde que lo probamos nunca fallamos en nuestro orden. Es un pollo hecho con un curry japonés y está acompañado por un arroz blanco que también tiene un toque especial... El sushi, los fideos, las gyozas (pastillas japonesas), el arroz... podría continuar pero mejor ir en persona y probarlo por ti mismo!"

"Today we went to lunch in this little corner of fracture where we were surprised by the homemade food of a great cook who noticed that they put a lot of affection on all of them with local products. the saladilla, the tacos with chipotle sauce a pleasure, the zucchini noodles a great discovery. the waiter is a great professional and fast above all, super good prices. "La parrillada cara para lo que ponen para 2 personas más de 22€,es la 4 vez que vengo y siempre se equivocan con la comanda,el local es el que está más cerca de la costilla ya que en la misma calle hay 2 locales,lo digo porque e comido en los dos y este es mucho más malo que el otro,además hacía calor y los aires no estaban ni encendidos con las ventanas cerradas,solo con el calor de la cocina al menos enciende el aire principal del pasillo,en definitiva más de 40€ para comer mal 2 personas."

"No juzgues a un libro por su portada Llevo más de 15 años en Rota y pensaba que el local estaba cerrado o no abría, pero hoy me llamó la curiosidad al ver las últimas reseñas y decidimos almorzar allí. Para empezar, el servicio es espectacular: super atentos, acogedores y simpáticos de principio a fin. Es un negocio familiar y se siente como en casa. La carta es bastante amplia, incluyendo platos tanto de la cultura china como tailandesa. Por esta vez, pedimos bolas rellenas, pollo con Almendras y tallarines con ternera. Sinceramente, los precios son bastantes económicos para las cantidades y la comida está de escándalo. No tenemos pega alguna ni de comida ni servicio. Cierto es que tienen más envíos que comensales en el local, pero recomiendo ir y probar la gran variedad de platos y al lado de la subida de Rotamar Por poner alguna pega , por fuera parece que está dejado o que allí no hay nada, por ello la frase del principio. Muchísimas gracias por el trato y repetiremos sin duda alguna."

"Whenever we visit a new place we seek out Caribbean food. This time, it meant a 90 minute round trip from our hotel in Cadiz, but we thought we’d give it a try….and it was well worth it! The owner, Michael, is warm and welcoming, and his team are fantastic. The food is first class, both in terms of flavour and portion size. He offers spicy and sweet versions of his jerk sauce to cater for all palates (our spicy version was amazing! The cocktails are also great quality and flavoursome. And to top it off, it’s great value for money. It’s definitely one we’ll visit again and we wholeheartedly recommend it (and for additional context, my husband is of Jamaican heritage, so this positive review comes with great backing!"
