"Never been here before and was I trawling through local eateries for a traditional Sunday roast. A lot of pubs aren’t open now on Sundays but The Lamb Inn was a real find! You do have to book as it is popular. I had roast pork and my partner had roast topside of beef. The puddings are to die for!"

"We have visited the Star many times but we recently won the FB competition for two course Christmas menu. We went last night and it was absolutely lovely! Large yummy roast dinners and our desserts were delicious and again a very good sized portion! HIGHLY RECOMMEND A VISIT THIS CHRISTMAS!! Thanks again Kosta and Sue."

"Super Friendly Staff Great Atmosphere but eat upstairs at your peril if it is cold outside It's a very old building and obviously not as warm as modern Buildings The Staff are aware of this and did their very best to provide extra heating.The Food was average,but the Enthusiasm of the Staff and the Top Notch Pint of Harvey's more than compensated.Well done all at The Plough Food: 2"
