"This was one the best meals I've had in a while - and excellent value for money too. We stopped in after reading some of the reviews with 2 hours to kill before we had to leave to catch the ferry. Lunch lasted 3 hours and we happily took a later ferry. Within 30 minutes of arriving 9 tables (23 people) were filled and being attended to only by Christelle. She handled the packed dining room to perfection. And the chef sent out plate after plate of excellent food. We went with our 2 tween\teen kids (and dog) and they all loved it as well. The escargot in puff pastry was very unique and showcased the snails in a way that garlic butter masks. The gambas in shallot sauce was simply amazing. The local sausage with apples and cheese was perfect with a glass of local cider - strong flavours but not overpowering. The veal chop (advertised with cider and cream sauce), came packed with local mushrooms and a ratatouille that tasted like Provence - a perfect pairing on a warm spring day. The tarte tatin was the best I've ever had - warm, light and full of apple flavour! Every other dish that we saw served to tables around us looked just as delicious, especially the oysters and skate, which all the locals seemed to be ordering. I really can't wait to go back!"
