"Das Pastis gehört mittlerweile zu eine der Adressen "Restaurants, die man in Saarlouis besucht haben muss". Immer wieder wurden wir als "Zugezogene" darauf aufmerksam gemacht DORT essen zu gehen.Wir waren nun auch schon ein paar Mal dort. Es ist wirklich eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre...aber für unseren Geschmack wird es doch zu überbewertet. Die Speisen sind zwar alle nett angerichtet, zum größten Teil auch sehr gute Qualität, jedoch fehlt irgendwie das richtige Timing, wann die einzelnen Gänge serviert werden sollen. Das macht das Ganze dann oft ungemütlich. Mit dem Fleisch haben wir wie schon in einer anderen Bewertung erwähnt leider auch schon 3x nicht so gute Erfahrung gemacht. Da es es jedes Mal das Filet war, werden wir auf diese Auswahl in Zukunft dort verzichten. Wein ist uns auch die letzten Male etwas zu warm gewesen, aber ansonsten ist es dort wirklich nett. Mehr leider nicht."

"This restaurants ratings are way too high. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, however the food and service were just ok. My husband, my daughter and myself ordered a meal for two (appetizers, salads, meat, etc.) The salads were good, the lamb was cooked very nicely, however the gyro meat was substandard and very dry. We were given Ouzo upon ordering and would have preferred not to have it b/c we were having a glass of wine with our meal and not trying to get drunk. After the meal they gave us some fruity liquor which we also did not drink. The meal was expensive and the food did not meet our expectations. However, the ambiance was very nice. Perhaps, ordering an individual portion of something instead of a "sharer platter" would have been a better choice on our part."

"We stayed at the Lava Grill in Saarlouis last night again for dinner, and felt the restaurant experience as well as our first visit 2 years ago, in total as okay, but not as outstanding. In addition to a selection of à la carte dishes, you can also choose an All you can eat Barbecue, where you grill your food yourself on spits over a lavasteingrill prepared in the table. For this purpose, a selection of marinated meat pieces (including pig, beef, chicken and an exotic, with us yesterday kangaroo) as well as various vegetables and supplements (pommes, walnut salad and green salad). The taste and quality of the dishes served for the barbecue was fine, refurbishment came very quickly upon request. Also the dishes à la Carte were tastefully and qualitatively fine. However, we feel that the price of the barbecue is too high, and, alternatively, additional supplements should be provided. The restaurant offers a nice ambience, the high number of grills you smell, thanks to the deductions over the tables, not excessive. The staff was as friendly as possible, but had something to be missed and always had to be addressed. Regarding the barbecue experience, the restaurant is fundamentally recommended, but too high expectations are not met from our point of view."

"we had decided spontaneously to go to the weekend eating. we decided to win a impression from the kitchen because of the full dressing for the menu. everything was arranged and well presented. eating was really good in front of all the gnoccis are to mention. especially we found the service very pleasant, intrusive, competent and nice. we felt comfortable and will certainly eat more often here."

"Nous sommes allés à 4 dans ce restaurant bar, et nous avons très bien mangé.Nous avons pris les diots de fajitas bœuf et chicken pour deux personnes savoir que c'est un plat à 22 € qui reste totalement raisonnable est amplement suffisant virgule nous avons aussi prix chacun 4 cocktails qui sont relativement grands et pas cher ainsi que trois ou quatre soft pendant le repas résultat total de l'addition nous en avons eu pour 34 € par personne ce qui reste relativement raisonnable pour une telle soirée l'ambiance est plutôt sympathique avec un bar à chat en face mets un peu de musique.Une adresse que je recommande où j'y retournerai rapidement"

"Das Grand Asia war meines Wissens die erste Sushi Bar im Saarland mit einem "Laufband".Ich habe das Grand früher sehr oft besucht, zu einer zeit als es praktisch noch keine andere Sushi Bar im Saarland gab.Aber die Zeiten haben sich verändert. Sushi wurde en Vouge und dementsprechend wurde die Auswahl größer.Doch diese Woche zog es mich wieder nach Saarlouis ins Grand.Das Sushi ist nicht schlecht hier. Doch ich bin der Meinung das man mitlerweile einfach besseres Sushi im Saarland bekommt.Die Auswahl war leider auch sehr beschränkt und nach 5-6 Sushis beginnt es sich zu wiederholen. Fairerweise muss man sagen das es mit 18€ für all you can eat nicht teuer ist.Dazu bekommt man auch eine kleine Auswahl an warmen Speisen und etwas Dessert.Insgesamt kein schlechtes Angebot.Aber wenn ich richtig gutes Sushi haben möchte, gehe ich doch wieder woanders hin."

"Very pleasant restaurant and top quality. This is not a joke now: I've never eaten such a deliciously seasoned meat meal in Germany. Otherwise, the quality is excellent, crispy, thin pommes, fresh salad. Cheese soup hot and well seasoned. The prices are absolutely fine for the quality offered. Absolutely recommended!"

"Terrasse convenable, service ok, quelques bémol a savoir: trop de choix sur la carte on s'y perd vite entre le vegetarien, le boeuf , le poulet, le canard , la dinde, les specialites aux noms indiens inconnus et dont le court descriptif ne vous aide pas a comprendre de quoi il s'agit, les plats grillés divers, tout serait a simplifier vraiment.Nous precisons notre choix de non piquant pour le plat, neanmoins force est de constater que notre palais est en feu, la gorge brule: tout est tres relevé, les amateurs de piquant apprécierons; mais desolé nous n'arrivons pas a finir nos plats...dommage."

"Meine Frau und ich waren vom 21. 10 .21 bis 25.10 .21 außer am 24.10.21 (Ruhetag) Gäste im Grill. Wir haben uns die ersten drei Tage wirklich wohl gefühlt. Herr David Splieth hat einen hervorragenden Job gemacht. Bestellung aufgenommen, warme kleine Brötchen und Getränke gebracht und auch die wirklich guten Hauptspeisen zügig zum Tisch gebracht. Es hat Spaß gemacht dort zu Essen. Nun ,am 25.10.21 kam der „wirkliche“ Restaurantchef mit dem Namen Hofer aus dem Urlaub und war dann der ganz große Meister ! Wir haben noch nie einen solch von sich selbst überzeugten , eingebildeten ,beratungsresiestenten Mitarbeiter in der Gastrobranche erlebt. Auf meine Frage warum noch keine kleinen warme Brötchen gebracht wurden und wir darauf warteten sagte er das diese zum Hauptgericht gebracht werden. Darauf hin machte ich ihn darauf Aufmerksam das so etwas völlig neu für mich wäre ,in jedem Restaurant kommt solche Artikel vor dem Hauptgang. Antwort wörtlich : bei ihm nicht ! Nun werden wir morgen diesen freundlichen Herrn nicht mehr belästigen und gehen Abends in ein anderes Restaurant. Die Geschäftsleitung sollte den Mann mal öfters testen, vielleicht kann er sich dann woanders profilieren !"

"I needed a really good seafood evening meal often difficult to find in Germany. Found Bistro LEscargot online a few minutes walk from my Kleine Markt hotel. I can thoroughly recommend the Skate Wings, the sweetness of which was perfectly offset by the...nutty Beurre Noir and sharpness of the Capers. This was accompanied by Jeunes jardin légumes gratinés and an unexpected seafood bisque (unaware that this came with the order). Food: Superb Ambience: Comfortably mellow -music unobtrusive. Service: Attentive yet unobtrusive. Seating and Décor: Very comfortable, good size tables. Escargot and Frog whimsy theme. Good size wine glasses and extensive wine cellar, good quality cutlery, nice table flowers, table cloth and napkins. An excellent meal and excellent value for money."

"Great ambience delicious food. The price performance ratio is super the pizzas, salads and noodle portions are lush. Fast and noticeable operation, we never had to wait long. I give only 4 stars as all pizzas are covered with mozzarella and there is no alternative than cheese. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone. Ideally you reserve a table"

"Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend mit 4 Personen zu Gast in der Schlemmer Galarie. Entgegen den anderen Bewertungen muss ich sagen, dass der Service sehr zuvorkommend und professionell arbeitete. Das Ambiente in den Kassenatten von Saarlouis ist natürlich toll. Das Essen reichlich, nicht ein Highlight aber wirklich gut. Ich hatte Filetspitzen mit Waldpilzen, diese waren mir noch etwas zu roh/kalt.Und ich finde, der Beilagensalat sollte beim Gericht dabei sein (nicht für 3 euro dazu buchbar)."

"Ich war auf der Rückreise von Paris mit meiner Frau im Kartoffel-/Schnitzel-/Pizzahaus. Scheinbar hatten wir einen schlechten Abend, obwohl Montag und das Restaurant nicht übermäßig voll, erwischt. Zunächst einmal dauerte es, bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Dann wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass jetzt erstmal nur die Getränke aufgenommen würden und das Essen später, obwohl wir bereits wussten, was wir bestellen wollten. Nachdem wir dann 7-8 Minuten später, bei einer anderen Kellnerin, das Essen bestellen konnten, bekamen wir dann nach nur zehn Minuten Wartezeit unsere Speisen geliefert. Allerdings hatten wir da unsere Getränke noch nicht (Hugo und Weizenbier). Das Essen war von der Qualität her gut, die Schnitzel so, wie man sie von anderen guten Restaurants auch kennt und nicht von herausragender Qualität, wie hier von ein paar anderen Gästen beschrieben."

"in October 2012 we visited the Greek restaurant kouzina in the famous kasematten (former fortification wall with the barracks) several times. the environment is as comfortable as possible and the personal is very attentive and polite. to the specialties is recommended to click on the following link: [here link] the price-performance ratio is consistent. the rich foods were prepared deliciously. typical Greek eating is offered, especially interesting are the so-called mezedes small dishes, which are thought for wein a little bit. but an already somewhat older Central Europeer is really fed by these supposed small otopes. the offered weepings corresponded to my gusto and stayed in the frame price. we, this is my wife. I and our guests were satisfied. Conclusion: a recommended gastronomic speciality."

"Unfortunately, the interior of the industry was taken over by Birkenfeld. After the adventurous half-hour walk through the crazy maze we finally found the porcelain department. Great choice. The 83 page menu I wanted to call with my Nokia 3310 unfortunately had considerable compatibility problems. The Siemens SC of my competitor also did something. Unfortunately I delivered a wrong burger... but let us be honest... beina salamier with roasted circus, paprika, nem whole maize colwe, e wicy lion, vine smier unn nem triverdells Dibbe Basilikum... It was delicious. Unfortunately, beer supplier Benediktiner is. The wheat beer flatters my palate. But the Pils beer stimulates my dinner. Then the fruit salad dressed as a cocktail added to the menu. Overall: Burger Top Beverage Service Flop. We waited a decade despite handmarks (per finger tried) Another warning: I liked the additions of Krautsalat very well. However, if you do not like to eat the crimp seeds from the Yps issue (inkl packaging) as a child, it could taste strange. Annex: The blonde service is friendly. Praise your educators."

"44/45 years ago there was never a week ago, where our clique Manfred Helmut Spoo and many others (Jusos) did not enjoy 1-2 times (as far as our bufget has allowed) the best spaghetti in a wide circle in the Mex, served by Kurti. Legendary have been the Mexican nights where some marriage started...How often did I try to cook this excellent spaghetti. I'm 70, I live in the Eifel and visited the Mex from the outside. But a visit to the tapas is worth it all. If I could just get to the recipe of the great spaghetti sauce......Werner Offermoney, Offergeld and...Great to Kurti Wagner also called glassy."

"Das Ichi wird ja viel gehypt in letzter Zeit und soll ja der angesagte Laden in Saarlouis sein.Das kann ich so leider nicht unterschreiben.Das Konzept ist Altbekannt: Bestellen per Tablett, 5 Gerichte pro Runde, 2 Std. Zeit.Der Laden an sich ist relativ klein und für meinen Geschmack viel zu hell beleuchtet.Das Essen ist gerade mal Standart Ware wie man sie bei jedem halbwegs vernünftigen China Buffet auch bekommt.Kein Vergleich mit der Konkurenz in Saarbrücken.Dafür werden stramme Preise verlangt.Das Personal war freundlich.Insgesamt gibt es wesentlich bessere Alternativen fürs Geld."

"Italian restaurant located in the birthplace of marshal ney. the poor guy heded his bets and was finally executed. lunch on saltimboccafor man and house. scampiravioli for me. I followed tiramisu for myself and mousse au chocolate. coffee has finished our delicious meal. Good...service of pleasant waiter, fresh flowers on tables and right towel serviettes beautiful! only on the bottom was a regular couple where the woman smoked three cigarettes during her meal and unfortunately the smoke came on my way when they were close to us with the dog. I know that we are not smokers in inferiority and have to sit with her! a delicious food and worth a visit."
