"Ok, your food was great. Love good food. But...you are too focussed on making a work of art with your food and totally forget your raisin d'etre....your customers. Tiny tiny sparrow portions. We are a normal sized family of four with normal, if not smaller appetites, and we left starving, and went to find some filling crepes elsewhere afterwards. You could transform this place into an amazing, booking only place if only you took two simple steps: 1. Provide bread/potatoes alongside your food (I nearly cried when you put a thimble full of risotto as main course, nothing else, in front of my (beanpole, normal teenager) 14 year old son...it made me angry, are you serious? 2. Employ one more waitress...one poor girl left to cover 12+ tables. We were both starving and thirsty as she failed to notice us numerous times! We are lucky to have a Michelin star restaurant close to us in Sussex, UK. They leave you feeling thoroughly well dined, accompanying their meals with lovely fresh artisan bread, lovely new potatoes and perfectly cooked al dente veg, and have a team of well trained waiting staff.Really really hacked off that we paid a fortune for this very tasty but seriously tiny amounts of food. I feel totally ripped off.Get your act together these two simple ways, and I would have no hesitation in recommending you. Continue to feed sparrows and I would not dream of recommending you."

"The location on the city ramparts makes you worry that the place will be very touristy, low quality, expensive and very busy. Do not let that put you off, we had some of the best crepe and galette in Brittany here and the service was excellent. We went on a busy Saturday evening when the weather was good, so we had to wait outside about 15 minutes for a table, but it's a nice location and it wasn't a problem waiting. Don't wander off too far as they can be faster than they say, we had been warned it could be 30 minutes...We where shown quickly to our table in the main (old) part of the building, which is very pretty but with no real view of the sea. The menu was clear and is in both French and English so there should be reason to get confused. They kept us supplied with fish pâté and toasted bread while we decided and waited for our food to arrive. They have a complete set of classic Breton dishes and a selection of more modern versions, a good selection of cider and some nice apple juice (didn't pay any attention to the beer/wine or soft drink but the list was long enough). We both had a special galette, both of which were excellent, and I've had a lot of galette so I'm not easily impressed any more. The sardines were delicious and combined well with the tomatoes, cream and melted cheese. For desert I had an excellent apple, salidou, mascarpone and crumbled biscuit crêpe, that was much better for not having squirty cream/chantilly on it.The service was fast and friendly and though specials are always more expensive than classic dishes, it was excellent value for money. The place was also clean and buzzing with fun. I have nothing bad to say about the place or our experience there and would happily go again."
