"We have been numerous times before, but yesterday we took some friends who have never been here, but always wondered why I sang the praises of this lovely seaside restaurant! Well folks they were delighted with their visit to the beach, and to LeFrance restaurant....We were seated directly on the decking area on the beach, with the waves just a few yards away. the sun was shining, slight refreshing breeze. Service was very good as usual, and very cheerful helpful. the sea food starter was light and delicious, the braised pork in creamy mushroom sauce was divine. The dessert of fresh strawberries and cream, was again light and delicious. Our wives had the fish platter with saffron rice, and again reported it's perfection. All this folks off the main menu of the day !! at 13.5 euro a head, hard to beat !! Yes of course their is a full Al la Carte menu should you so wish, but for us, more often then not, the menu of the day is usually really good food, and it doesn't break the bank. The service and ambience are also really good. You would have to be a real grump NOT to enjoy this place, a well hidden jewel in France's crown"
