"We had booked a Gite in the beautiful village of St Remeze for a week and planned to visit each restaurant over the week. Well apart from a couple of nights when we had a takeaway Pizza we ended up here every night. Like all...our favourite restaurants there is a small menu, which means the food is fresh and hasn 't been in a freezer for months. But over the week we tried pretty much everything, except the locally farmed snails!!! Every single item was delicious and beautifully presented. Our modest French was no problem. The owner and I used odd words and happy gestures to communicate, whilst the waiter spoke fluent English having spent 3 years in London. Highlight of the week was Wednesday 's soiree musicale featuring rumba, flamenco and gypsy music. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough."
