"El aperitivo estaba genial!!! La magra con tomate súper rica, y la ensaladilla genial, si no me acerco a la barra a decir que me atiendan me da toda la mañana allí. Le dije que limpiarse la mesa a la camarera y casí me muerde, por mucho que le dimos las gracias con lo pedido hasta que no vio la propina, por la comida no por su servio, no dijo de nada... Puede que volvamos a ver si en otra ocasión nos encontramos un ambiente más amigable."

"It's a place where you eat very well. the price is fantastic. the quality of food to 10. Everything is done at home, nothing frozen. the staff is wonderful very affectionate and attentive. a lot of variety if you go with kids. you can also pick up the food at the local and bring it home and prepare it wonderfully. We return every year because I never disappoint"

"We had returned from a stroll along the promenade and decided a cold beer was needed so the first place we found was these tables across the road from Cycles restaurant. Having ordered our cold beers we noticed they did a seafood salad that was not much money and we could share easily as well with our cold beers. When it arrived we had never seen a salad before served like this was it was square and laced with sea food mayo and lettuce with a giant prawn on the top (See Photo) Boy was it nice so much so we returned for a second one on another day. This was a Sunday after Sue had visited the mud baths at lunch time, we ourselves were so taken with our seafood salads we walked all the way from one end of the promenade to the other where Cycles restaurant is to eat dinner only to find it was closed so can't review the fish dinner we were looking forward to we are sorry to say. The Cycles promenade tables were always packed at lunch times and we noticed many eating that seafood salads as well. Sue and John Eastbourne UK"

"Hemos ido tres o cuatro veces y la situación es siempre la misma. La comida es excelente y los camareros o camareras muy amables, pero los tiempos de espera son muy largos. Tienes la sensación de que hay algo que no funciona en este restaurante, muchas mesas vacías y los camareros como a cámara lenta. Una hora de reloj desde que te sientas hasta que te sacan el primer plato es inaceptable. Estuvimos más tiempo esperando que comiendo. Evidentemente el problema está en la cocina, falta gente o está mal organizada. Entiendo que la elaboración de los platos es al momento y laboriosa, pero no es excusa: personal y organización, no se puede tener a la gente una hora esperando. Aún con todo merece la pena, pero hay que ir preparado."

"I have visited this restaurant a lot since it has opened both as a couple and as a solo female diner and have had some fantastic meals and some average meals but I have always found it to be a place that I feel comfortable visiting on my own. Tonight I have changed my opinion. For some reason they seem to have hiked there prices up and appear to be chasing the Euro over quality dining. Hey ho! I saw the huge price increase but still decided to give it a go because I have always liked their lasagna and I have dined here on several occasions by myself and felt comfortable. I will never eat here again after tonight’s experience. I ordered my drink and main meal, this came and I finished it but was left to my own devices, the waiter seemed uncomfortable serving a lone female and I had to request salt etc... anyway I ate my meal and then tried to get attention to request the bill. Nobody had been to ask if I wanted extra drinks, dessert or coffee and after waiting and trying to get attention I decided that I really needed to go to the ladies. So I got up and still tried to get the attention of a waiter tending to the tables near me but to no avail and I continued to walk to the ladies and managed to ask for the bill but struggled to say which table. After returning from the ladies I found that my table had been cleared and there was a couple sat at it! So I grabbed a waitress and asked for the bill, when she asked which table I was sitting at she got very confused because somebody was sitting at that table. Needless to say I will not be revisiting this restaurant despite being a loyal customer for the last 4-5 years. I have never been made to feel like such a loser for daring to go out and down without a man. In this day and age restaurants should be more accommodating of lone diners. I really wish that we had walked without paying now (which I would never do) because they would not have had a clue."
