"Stop not scheduled Saturday 14 October on a very long trip. Super surprise! phone or physical, already the reception of the person was really large (until we accompanied each of our two bedrooms.) they were very clean, very nicely decorated, very functional, quiet, and beautiful beds. A real rest! On the evening restaurant side, a staff at the top! We saw servers have all the attention possible for a child at the side table, impeccable service, a dish that passed very well! Breakfast was also a pleasant moment with once again, a very welcoming and helpful person (offered to wear the plates being in crutches.) we did not really look or enjoy the hotel facilities as arrivals around 8:30 pm and distributed in the morning, but frankly an excellent hotel!"

"The Ecuyer Bistrot surpassed all my expectations! I ordered a bath, and the first bite delighted me. The tenderness of the meat combined with the blue sauce was simply a slaughter. And as a Nordist, I can say that their home fries are top. My comrades took the Fouee menu, speciality of the corner and restaurants. Also advising but out of a red wine tasting I wanted a good red meat Very good wine has the small flat on the coffee. But apart it was great!! A place close to the center without being in the area of restaurants catch tourists Open the door without hesitation if you pass in front of lunch hour"

"Arrivés à 13h45, nous avons dû passer 1h1/2 pour deux plats( bonnes salades et bon steak haché enfants). En revanche, ça s'est compliqué ensuite et comme le disait un serveur à un collègue "c'est le bordel ici"! Tous les serveurs nous ont servi, l'un pour prendre la commande, une autre pour servir une partie de la commande, une troisième pour servir la fin de la commande, le tout en oubliant le café... cette "brasserie" ouverte depuis 1996, ne sert pas à manger à 15h ( à nos voisins de table). Vive le France et ses bistrotiers qui profite de l'emplacement de leur établissement . Heureusement qu'il y a un bon cuisinier... mais il y a un bien piètre patron!!!"

Too bad to hear the neighbors of the table complain for nothing (saying too long when they come after us and we had the desserts right after us caused us people as if the restaurants no longer find the staff. The rilette was ok. the minced beef a pure Desaster, meetpices Simmering i lot of brown goja of Sojasauce. Thai noodles Serverad a Part coolked With some vegetables,mostly bambooshots. Uneatabel. I Still Wonder what kind of meat they used to the tartar ? The worse tartar i Ever got during many Yeard traveling in France. For THE seasoning i got lot of capers,less minced cucumber more than less minced onions, Tabasco and worcestersauce. No .dijonmustard. On top of it, The service could also be improved."

"Bonne cuisine, serveurs avenants, mais patron aussi aimable qu'un ours.Nous avons bien déjeuné malgré la pluie en terrasse sur une table sans parasol prévue pour deux et nous étions trois. Au moment de payer, pas de sourire, pas de geste commercial pour offrir un café. Encore heureux que les serveurs sont hyper sympas et très prévenants, ça rattrape le mauvais accueil du patron qui a une place privilégiée juste sous le château."

"The food here is good. I had the menu du jour: creamed mushrooms in a pastry shell, steak with stewed shallot sauce and fries, and cheese+salad for dessert. We had coffee which they brought before the meal along with a carafe of water that we asked for. We ordered in basic French, but the waiters know enough English and were taking orders and helping other non-French speakers in English. The waiters all seem to be working hard and served every one well. We sat outside, but the inside was very interestingly decorated and intimate looking. The servers were dressed like Burners, each one unique. We waited at the sign board for a long while, finally sitting ourselves down at an empty table in the shade even though I know that is a faux pas in many areas. The proprietor came over shortly and tapped me on shoulder with the drink menus. I think maybe he was scolding me, but then it could have been a love tap. At any rate, we enjoyed the food and service."

"I ate here on a recommendation from a Saumur B&B in the mid-2000s, and when I returned to Saumur in 2019, this was a place I sought out because of my memories of its cozy decor, warm, personable service, and delicious homestyle food. I was happy to find that this restaurant retained its charm and quality. This time, I ate here with my young preteen and husband and they both loved it. We ordered a fresh chevre appetizer and la pierre chaude du boucher, which came with salad, bread, and an incredibly large and diverse assortment of meats--which we cooked on our individual hot rocks (pierre chaud). My son was absolutely thrilled by the experience. We had a delicate and delicious dessert with strawberries from the owner's garden. This is still my favorite place to eat in Saumur (and now the rest of my family's as well)."

Galette médiocre, coupe de glace qui n'en ai pas une, aucune différence entre une coupe spéciale et trois boules individuelles (à part le prix), la coupe spéciale coûte plus chère alors qu'on nous sert que trois boules dans une coupe. Lorsqu'on demande une explication aux serveuses celles-ci ne vous répondent pas et finissent par vous éviter, quand aux propriétaires ceux-ci ne vous donnent aucune explication crédible et finissent par vous gueuler dessus comme du poisson pourri. Il n'accepte pas la critique.Je déconseille"

"Encore une fois nous avons apprécié de dîner sur la terrasse. Les pizzas sont généreusement garnie avec des produits de qualités. Les pizzas de base sont là, mais il y a d'autres pizzas proposées en suggestion du jour, il n'y a pas que des pizzas, il y a d'excellents plats de pâtes (que nous avons testés la fois précédente). Le service est efficace et aimable. L'accueil est sympathique."

"Je tiens a préciser que je suis allé au stand sandwichs. Le service est très rapide mais un peu trop à mon goût. J'ai commander un panini chorizo mais malheureusement rien n'était chauffé à l'intérieur. J'ai donc du le jeter car un panini froid c'est vraiment pas bon. Si vous êtes pressé, à conseiller sinon à éviter. Ils devraient respecter les temps de chauffe des paninis."

"As the name suggests, two town houses of the Bd de Lattre de Tassigny have been restored to their former glory, linked together by a conservatory and transformed into a brasserie. Although the place is located close to the shopping centre, it is not really a problem. With time, the surrounding trees will make it more intimate and will hide slightly the view over the car park. We had lunch on the terrace during the summer but this time we ate inside. There is ample place, the staff is friendly and efficient, the chef sources simple seasonal products of good quality. Simplicity combined with a certain sophistication. You choose the way your fish is cooked (grilled, steamed, ) and the accompanying sauce. It is cooked to perfection. Four of us chose the menu of the day (24 euros) and one the a la carte. We added a few tapas to start with (a very tasty cured ham with excellent bread and some beignets de langoustines). The house aperitif made of cremant de Loire, Royal Combier and sugarcane should be tried. As soon as we are back in the country for a holiday, we will be back. We just wish such good standards will remain. Sadly we often find that after a while, in this part of France, the restaurant owners find it difficult to keep up a good pace."

The map is short but balanced: there are meats, fish, veggie. For our part, a very remarkable Thai fashion tartar. fragrant seasoning without ripping, perfect homemade fries meclun salad with a tasteful and original sauce. my wife's caesar salad was a copyy and original also with a single bemol: why the restaurateurs are willing to put iceberg lettuce insipid and floating, in cesar that to merit their name should be prepared with Roman.? good ice cream, original panna cotta with a salty butter caramel coulis, good extraction fieldigny brine. The address is good despite this venial betrayal."
