"During the summer, a new Greek has established itself in the premises of the Greek restaurant, which was closed about a year ago, directly at the Schwentinentaler Freibad. This Friday I was afraid of a visit to Pizzeria Perino in the district of Klausdorf and decided to try this new Greek. When I approached the site, another vehicle just drove away from the outdoor parking spaces and I parked my vehicle there. When I entered, I registered that about half of the tables were occupied. Behind the vault, no one could see when I got into the guest room, I noticed a young service that just re-covered a table at the window. She greeted me and meant that I could choose a free table. I then took place at the newly-covered table on the window and then got the menu shortly afterwards. The offer differs only slightly from the other Greek restaurants in Germany, but prices seem to me somewhat higher than comparable providers, sometimes even clear. The complete menu can be seen on the restaurant's homepage: [here link] My hunger was in a normal setting, so I chose the No. 113, “1 Meat Spit and Gyros” (13,90 €) and was asked by the service whether I wanted tomato rice, fries, or both in the morning as a supplement. I chose the fries for the fries, and I ordered a non-alcoholic yeast beer (0.5l for 4.30 €). The beer was served in a short time and was well tempered. Shortly afterwards, the operation brought a small bowl with salad and a basket with three slices of white bread, with a small bowl with herbal mayonnaise. The bread was fresh, but the mayonnaise was not so much according to my taste, so I left it after a slice of bread and made me over the salad. It consisted of sprinkled portions of white cabbage, red cabbage and carrots, crowned by a cucumber disc, a tomato wand and two black olives. In addition, there was a stick yogurt dressing where I don't like to decide whether it was stirred or prefabricated, the taste was good. Just as I consumed the last crumbs of the salad came the service and served the plate with my main dish. On the right a portion of Gyros, on the left a slightly disordered bunch of French fries, in the background a small salad decoration with a Klecks Tsatsiki on a sheet Lollo Rosso. On the Gyros there was a fairly large meat spear, decorated with plenty of coarsely cut onions. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy, even the spice left no wishes open. Gyrosmeat had little growth and the existing fat was well grilled. I missed but very clearly the otherwise usual tasty grill crusts on the little pieces, instead I found there a kind of paste of herbs and spices that determined the intense taste. On the spit I found six pieces of pork fillet, on the outside slightly grilled and well seasoned. Unfortunately, however, the pieces were cut quite thick and inside no longer delicate and juicy, but quite firm, so that vigorous chewing was necessary. Finally, the tsatsiki seemed to be stirred from a mixture of yogurt and quark, the consistency was good, the spice also, the garlic content remained in the middle area. Shortly after I had emptied the plate, a young waiter appeared with a recognizable migration background, but speaking English without accent, and asked if it tasted. Then he cleared the table, and I asked for the bill. He then asked if he could offer me an ouzo, which I found very good, because not every guest drinks this liquor. Overall, the consistently young staff was very strenuous and friendly, for my terms it was only a little lack of routine."

"At the end of a weekend we had no desire to cook at home. So we decided to decide the evening in the small Italian restaurant in Raisdorf. Madame had doubts as to whether we would get a table, only the activities of the German national football team this evening had probably held most potential guests from the visit to the restaurant. We were kindly greeted by an operator when we entered, and we were able to choose a place in the restaurant where only one family was sitting at several tables pushed together. We had hardly any room when the second service already supplied us with the menus. The two young ladies were apparently in the second or third generation in Germany, a barely acceptable Italian accent seemed more wanted to create the appropriate atmosphere in the restaurant. Despite all the efforts of the two, however, it was clear that they had not enjoyed gastronomic training, but they did so with kindness and commitment. Essen The offers in the menu characterize the typical program of a small Italian restaurant in Germany, is therefore adapted to German expectations and behaviors. So there is a selection of pizzas, pasta and salads, with meat and fish dishes it's a bit thin. Madame chose “Macheroni all’Arrabiata” (8,50 € and I baked the “Canneloni di Carne, pasta filled with minced meat, with ricotta and cheese” (8,50 €. To drink we ordered a bottle of mineral water (0,75l for 2,60 €, which was also brought after a very short time. The restaurant was as empty as the footballers should have one of their big performances this evening. Accordingly, the kitchen rushed to prepare our food as soon as possible as the expected last guests. After about ten minutes the two plates were served, the noodles were expected to be “old”, the Arrabiata sauce to the macheroni and also the minced meat filling in the canneloni very good and tasty. We were both well fed and very satisfied with the restaurant visit. Ambience Rustic furnishings with open light wooden beams and partly white, partly ocher-painted walls, the furniture made of light wood, the chairs with centrally padded back with striped fabric cover. The tables were covered with white fabric tablecloths and blankets in old pink, the places covered with cutlery and napkins. On each table were a windlight of glass and salt and pepper mills. Cleanliness No dust in the corners, no crumbs on the ground, so well maintained. Plates, glasses and cutlery were also clean, we did not visit the toilets."
