"One to avoid. Imagine travelling for hours to your holiday destination and looking forward to that first thirst quenching drink, only to be refused because you are not buying a meal. The embarrassment! Yes, we had travelled for hours to the picturesque holiday resort of Cala Galdana on the beautiful island of Menorca. After a quick unpack and stroll, what better than to have a nice cooling drink . The Alaska Tapas looked the ideal location, but unfortunately upon trying to order 2 drinks, we were quite loudly refused as we were not buying a meal. This was at 4 O'clock and the establishment was half empty. Needless to say we quickly recovered from the rebuke and went to a lovely restaurant 4 doors down who were perfectly happy to serve drinks to us. Unfortunately for the Alaska, they received a 1 star review and failed to become our go to restaurant for the rest of our holiday. First impressions count."
