"Don 't judge a book by its cover really applies to this store! Very inconspicuous from the outside and when you hear the name you don 't immediately think of incredibly good sushi BUT... ...incredibly good sushi!!! Great taste, great combinations, high quality products, from fish to fruit to vegetables...everything fresh, extremely nice and friendly staff and great delivery service, there 's even a little extra dessert if we have sushi at home, then always from there! "When I was there, they had three vegan main dishes, but the current menu lists only two desserts as vegan (probably a mistake as Penne pomodoro was listed as vegan when I visited). This restaurant can have good vegan options, but you need to have a plan B. In addition to the location on the river, the flag shown on the outside is a big plus. "Auf der Hompage stand dass man betreffend Fischplatte Kontakt mit dem Restaurant aufnehmen müsse. Dies habe ich gemacht und im Rahmen der Reservierung explizit nach der Fischplatte gefragt. Die Antwort war man müsse dies obwohl auf der Homepage vermerkt nicht melden. Als wir dann im Restaurant diese Fischplatte bestellen wollten hiess es plötzlich man hätte dies voranmelden müssen. Die Servicemitarbeiterin konnte sich zwar noch an meinen Anruf und ihre Auskunft erinnern. Sie hätte aber verstanden ich wollte einen Vorspeiseteller... Wir waren wegen der Fischplatte dort, die es dann eben nicht gab, um einen Geburtstag zu feiern....Das (gezwungenermassen andere) Essen war sehr fein aber man war sich keines Fehlers bewusst. Meine Frau hat bei der Bezahlung diese Enttäuschung nochmals erwähnt, aber auch dort schien dies niemanden zu interessieren.Fazit: wir waren drei Mal in diesem Restaurant, nämlich das erste Mal, das letzte Mal und einmal zu viel .... schade und wirklich enttäuschend Fehler können passieren aber man sollte dann auch dazu stehen können"

"well presented and delicious Italian cuisine, good seasonal specialities and a wide range of pasta and pizza options including vegetarian selection and some options that can be made vegan on request. the employees are welcoming and friendly, they have a good level spoken English, which is a great help as an early German and Italian speaking person. the restaurant is cozy and has a large sitting area in the free, if allowed the weather."

"Wir waren als Gruppe zum Essen im Safran. Die Bedingungen war sehr freundlich und das Essen sehr gut. Wir waren alle mehr als satt, auch wenn die servierten Schalen nicht gross aussehen. Da ist genügend Fleisch drin ! Wir hätten auch noch mehr Reis haben können, wenn wir noch hungrig gewesen wären oder mehr hätten haben wollen... Für mich eines der besten indischen Restaurants in der Region Solothurn sehr empfehlenswert!"
