"I booked a table online for Monday afternoon and had a wonderful experience at this pub/restaurant. The front-of-house staff were fantastic—very attentive and friendly. They promptly took our drink orders without being overly pushy. Our food order was taken seamlessly, so we didn’t have to look around for anyone. The food arrived in a timely manner, and both dishes—the lamb shoulder with dauphinois potatoes and the steak and ale pie—were delicious and served hot. The waiting staff checked in with us twice to make sure everything was to our liking and to see if we needed more drinks. This is a large pub/restaurant that we've been visiting for several years, and they consistently get it right. Please keep up the great work; you’re doing an excellent job!"
