"After taking the chairlifts from Stoos first to Klingenstock and then to the Fronalpstock, we had a simple meal from the cafeteria, eating outside on the terrace we were quite lucky on this very busy sunny day in early September to get a seat...at one of the long tables on the terrace right at the edge with the incomparable view down to Lake Lucerne and into the surrounding mountains. We opted for simple local food, had the Älplermagrone (mix of macaroni, potatoes and cheese) served traditionally with Apfelmus (applesauce) and the Veal Bratwurst with onion sauce and fries. Nothing extraordinary, but both tasted good. The winner definitely was the location with the view stars on this component!"

"Wir haben zu zweit ein Wochenende im Caschu verbracht und wir waren hellauf begeistert. Es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Die Gastgebern sehr kompetent und sehr sehr freundlich. Das Personal war ebenfalls sehr nett und die Küche ein absoluter Traum. Das Frühstück war sehr frisch und mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben am Abend ein Fondue Chinoise gegessen was wir nicht mehr vergessen werden. Fleisch 1A Qualität, die Sauchen alle frisch zubereitet und dazu gab es Gemüse, Reis und Kartoffel Wedges. Es war das beste Chinoise was wir jeh gegessen haben. Wir konnten im kleinen Stübli das Essen alleine geniessen und wurden so zuvorkommend bedient wie zuhause. Das Hotel ist wunderschön und mit viel Stil eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Sauna und der Whirlpool konnten wir zu zweit geniessen (kann man buchen für 1.5 Std. ohne Aufpreis) und wir waren einfach von allem hellauf begeistert. Schön gibt es solche Gastgeber, da können sich einige Hotels und Restaurants davon ein Beispiel nehmen. BRAVO."
