"A friend and I had dinner at this location which is a well established pub and bar and now proposes one table for 14 persons and three dinner sittings starting at 19:00. The welcome and service provided by the maître d'hôtel is outstanding and his...explanation of the various items on the menu is excellent. The portions are small and so we decided to share six dishes and especially enjoyed the foie gras with rhubarb, the octopus Sicilian style and the Genevese cardoon. We then shared a memorable cheese cake with caramel. Only two other customers were present at the 19:00 seating hence there was limited opportunity to meet new persons, but we plan to return for the 20.30 service which is usually a full table on fridays and saturdays."

"came over this jewel looking for a new place for a birthday dinner. This is a rare discovery! Excellent food and very warm and attentive service. Le cadre des deux restaurants est juste parfait: chic et moderne, la cliente est mixte il y a des jeunes comme des plus vieux (comme moi) et est aussi élégante que le restaurant. "We went to Bistrot du Boucher to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a large table for our group of ~10 people and most of us ordered the filet de boeuf. Overall good meat for all but mine was clearly over cooked - no debate... I mentioned it to the waitress, not asking for another piece but just to highlight it to their chef. Few minutes later she came back with a huge portion of beef perfectly cooked to replace mine. I was frankly surprised (positively).French fries are excellent: tiny, very crusty and tasteful.For desert, they come by your table with a little trolley to present all of their homemade pies, chocolate fondant, cakes.... we picked up a Tarte Tatin which was relay nice, well prepared with caramelized sugar all around!When coffee / tea was served, they offered some nice miniature French pastries.All along the evening, the staff was very friendly with us, smiling and doing their job professionally."

"I passed by this little cafe on my way towards two of the parks in the area. As I peeked inside the door I saw some amazing cookies and pastries in the display case. I made a mental note of the location and on my...return journey made it a point to stop inside. Wow, for such a small display case it was packed with cookies, cakes, pastries, fresh breads, sandwiches, salads, pasta, sauces, muesli, jams, hot/cold beverages and so much more. The pastries/cakes were in the mini or whole cake sizes. I tried the raspberry tort and a chocolate chip cookie (4.70CHF), and these were both delicious! The staff was really wonderful and they also allowed me to freely take pictures of their products during my visit. Their customer service was exceptional and I enjoyed my yummy break! Most definitely, highly recommended!!"
