"We got off the autostrada at Rovereto Nord in order to find a restaurant on the road to Trento where we had eaten very well previously. Instead we ended up on another road and after passing through an industrial area with no restaurants open on a Sunday, hunger made us stop here. By the way it is now called Singh . I normally don 't go to bi- or tri- cuisine restaurants, it 's difficult enough to be good at one. This was Italian/Indian. We decided on Italian. Hubby ordered il piatto Trentino , a piatto unico (main course) at 14 euros as he likes polenta. When it arrived the polenta consisted of 5 VERY thinly sliced industrial polenta (which is sold ready made wrapped in plastic, 49c a kg. in my local supermarket). I don 't know how they managed to slice it so thinly. The rest of the dish consisted of very dark mushrooms (maybe from a tin), a sausage which had had several lives judging by its hard crust, and a piece of gorgonzola cheese, which was the only part of the dish that was edible. BTW gorgonzola is not a Trentino cheese, so I don 't know what it was doing on a plate called Trentino Plate . There are plenty of wonderful cheeses made in Trentino. We go regularly to a restaurant in the centre of Trento where, for less you get a huge plate of genuine Tirolese cooking, with freshly made polenta, sauerkraut, sausages, cheese, pork chop, mushrooms (fresh ones). It 's enough for two. I had grilled sword fish and potatoes, which was better than the Piatto Trentino, but nothing to write home about. Juding by this I just wanted to warn people not to touch the Italian dishes. The Indian ones may be fine, I didn 't try them."

"A former colleague brought me here. When I saw the outside I thought ok, very American place, will be similar to McDonald 's . The atmosphere is indeed that one (old Cadillacs, old vinyls... , but I don 't dislike it. I was ready to order some burger or american food, instead my colleague went with pasta, thus I decided to follow. We ordered also a bottle of water. After some minutes the bottle was on the table, we had to ask for 2 glasses. It took a long time after the order, but this can be a good clue that they are really cooking at the moment, so I was not worrying. Then my pasta came. I waited some time, but the other dish was not coming. It took like another 5 10 minutes... and they came with the wrong food. It was ravioli, the waiter called it garganelli and my colleague had ordered tagliatelle. : Quite strange that the waiter couldn 't recognize the pasta shapes, since he was Italian. The it took another 5 minutes to get the right food. I must say that both dishes were good, abundant and respected tradition. Therefore, I would give 4 stars or even a little more to the food itself, but 2 for the service: the water girl and the pasta buy were both kind, but clearly messy. The place was quite empty, even if it is very large. The pasta was so much that I couldn 't even think to have a dessert, but there were several different cakes that were looking delicious. We spent 10€ each for (1 dish of pasta half liter water coffee : quite cheap to me."
