"Arrived on time and ordered a drink, no problems. Sat down in the ‘snug’ with our 3 dogs. Was handed the menu to be told it’s ‘Burger night’ and there is no other option other than a couple of basket meals. We decided to stay as we didn’t know where else to go at short notice(we are on holiday). The food was very well done and we couldn’t complain at that with that side of things. What was disappointing was that when we booked we was not told it was burger night only. Half way through our meals other guests were being offered another menu which had all the pub favourites on. When we questioned this we were made aware it is for OAP’s only. The portions were certainly not OAP portions so why could t they offer everyone this. The waitresses, albeit polite, didn’t seem to know who could have what menu."
