"I hesitate to write this review because of the completely opposite experiences we had. On the first night, we were treated to a wonderful meal. Similar to other reviews, the restaurant is cozy, the serving staff amicable and the food extremely good. Especially, the antipasti. The proprietor was friendly and easy to communicate. However, apart from the antipasti and serving staff the experience was disappointing. At first, we understood the proprietor 's insistence on his recommendation as simply his enthusiasm for his creation. However, his repeated statement saying 'so you will eat this ', 'so you will eat this ' when we were thinking about our ordering was forceful and uncomfortable. To be compliant we simply agreed and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, the soggy nature of the pasta and the stiffness of the sauce inferred that it was left overs from the afternoon servings. It was the first time in months that we felt like we were being treated as tourists and not as customers. He didn 't even seem to understand though we told him at least several times that we were living in Sicily. As I said, it was a bipolar dining experience and because it left such a bad feeling with us we won 't be going back no matter how good the antipasti was."
