"I dined here with family friends for Christmas Day dinner. The menu consisted of a special menu for the Christmas holiday and the regular menu. The Xmas menu consisted of soup, salad, main dish and dessert plate starting around €26. Two in our party ordered the steak with mushroom sauce, which they enjoyed, my friend ordered the duck with crispy skin and these dishes from the Xmas special menu were served with veggies or a potato side. I ordered the steak with pepper sauce (18CHF) off the regular menu which came with potato croquettes and a salad. My steak was very tender and had very good taste. The atmosphere was nice as the entire restaurant was decorated for the Xmas holiday season. The service was good, but slightly over-worked due to the constant and full restaurant guests. There is also a small banquet room and a larger more open air dining experience room. Overall, the meals with beverages costs roughly €100 and it was a good choice. I have previously eaten at this restaurant a few time before and I would recommend for lunch or dinner. A popular place for the more mature locals and entire families. There is a large outside patio seating area in good weather and the staff is friendly. The restrooms were generally clean."

"I am traveling to Thailand A LOT and Thai food is the culinary love of my life. Having been disappointed many times by Thai restaurants in the Rhein-Neckar region I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Truth be told - this still isn't the real thing but it is very close. The owners wife is Thai and so there is a lot of authenticity around their food. When I say "close" the difference lies in the raw materials - specifically the amounts used. Example would be a Tom Yum Gung - in Thailand you would have a good handful of herbs and spices that aren't edible but solely there to make the flavor. Here at Ambiente they use the same materials but much less of it. I understand this is due to the high price and because their dishes would become much more expensive if they did it the authentic way. Thus I am rating the place high because they are as close as it can get in Germany."

"Waren mit Freunde an einem Sonntag dort essen. Die Atmosphäre war richtig schön und ausgeglichen. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisekarte ist nicht zu groß aber auch nicht zu klein genau richtig. Die haben eine große Auswahl an Burger alles was das herz begehrt. Was etwas komisch ist Ein Salat mit Putenstreifen kostet knapp 10 Euro statt ein normaler Burger für 7 Euro. Hab mich für einen Burger entschieden. Das Restaurant bietet aber auch kleine Snacks und Beilangen zum satt werden. Preisleistungsverhältnis eher normal günstig sieht anders aus. Der Burger war wirklich sehr lecker und gut belegt. War wirklich von allem begeistert. Es ist auch eine Bar wo auch Cocktails und Longdrings verkauft werden. Habe mich für ein Cocktail entschieden war wirklich sehr gut gemacht. Im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden werde aufjdenfall wieder kommen wenn die Preise auch besser stimmen."

"Very delicious food at fair prices! We were here for the first time (adjusted with 3 dogs, which was not a problem. The guest room is very large and bright with sufficient space, the terrace has 6 tables and parasols. We had previously called and announced 3 adults (with 3 dogs the boss was very friendly and reserved the perfect table inside. The service was quick and friendly. The food was freshly prepared, hot, beautifully dressed and extremely tasty. The portions are plentiful (we have unfortunately not done everything. The selection is absolutely sufficient and typical Greek. The only thing we missed on the map was Pita Bread and the indication of what the most important foods are served (namely in our case, salad and potato chips at least I found it nowhere. Very recommended are the alcohol-free mix drinks Ipanema and Black Hugo and as an appetizer the very delicious cheese Croquettes (2nd photo) At the end there was an ouzo on the house : I would also like to mention that all Corona measures were implemented by way of example. Mouth protection at the staff, removal of tables, hand disinfection in the entrance area and in the noticeably clean, probably freshly renovated toilet and filling of the data sheets. All in all it is worth a visit here!"

"Das Restaurant La Piscina existiert schon sehr lange in Viernheim und ich war auch schon sehr häufig hier. Es ist das Stammlokal meiner Eltern und bei fast jedem Besuch sind wir einmal hier. Das Restaurant besticht durch freundlichen Service und sehr guten Gerichten. Wir waren regelmäßig zu viert als Familie dort. Das Essen war immer sehr gut und der Service immer nett mit einem Augenzwinkern. Es gibt immer Pizzabrot vor ab. Die Küche ist italienisch und auf der Standardkarte findet man alles, was man von einem normalem Italiener erwartet. Pizza, Pasta, Antipasti und Carne (Kalb und Rind und auch Schwein). Tageskarte ist wechselnd, je nach Saison. Zu den Pizzen kann ich nichts sagen, da ich hier noch keine gegessen habe. Ich halte mich meistens an Fleisch. Hier muss ich betonen, dass Rindfleisch bei mir "medium-rare" sein muss. Keinesfalls Richtung done(dann lieber etwas Richtung Bleu). Das hat hier bisher immer super geklappt :-). In der Muschel-Saison kann man hier sehr fein frische Muscheln essen. Sowohl im Weißwein-Sud als auch in Tomatensauce. Beides sehr lecker.Tipp: wenn man Muscheln mag, sollte man diese Vorbestellen, damit man sich auch welche bekommt. Anruf genügt.Auch größere Gesellschaften sind hier gut aufgehoben. Wir waren im Mai zu einem runden Geburtstag hier. Der Tisch war hübsch gerichtet und der Service sowie das Timing des Essen war prima. Auch bei mehreren Gerichten gleichzeitig war die Qualität der der Speisen sehr gut.Summa summarum ein gutes Lokal mit nettem Wirt und sehr guten Gerichten und einem sehr gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis."

"very good pizzeria at home. relatiw small but definitiw fine. the price level is absolutely moderate. here is cooked with lots of fresh ingredients. the size of the portions is very good. as dessert there are fresh cantuccini donated by the chef. here you should reserve in particular in the evening, there is only approx. 24 seats. if you want to criticize something at all, then the waiting times, which are sometimes somewhat longer, at the foods but also at the drinks. the parking spaces here are absolutely defective, as there are also some other localities in the vicinity. here you can recommend the parking lot behind the rathaus. free of charge in the evening, 1 hour free of charge with parking. we've been here more often and come back guaranteed."

"Wir haben in diesem Restaurant einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Der Service war sehr freundlich und wusste sehr gut über die einzelnen Gerichte bescheid.Als das Restaurant später dann voller wurde, hätte eine zusätzliche Servicekraft vermutlich gut getan. Wir hatten Popadoms mit verschiedenen Saucen vorneweg, die alle drei sehr lecker waren und auf einem frischen Tablett serviert wurden. Unsere beiden Hauptgerichte waren vegetarisch und geschmacklich hervorragend. Man kann zwischen drei Schärfegraden (mild, scharf und sehr scharf) wählen. Wenn man nichts dazusagt, wird das Curry "normal" also irgendetwas zwischen mild und scharf zubereitet. Ein Curry bestellten wir "normal" und eines in "scharf". Das normale war angenehm pikant und das scharfe wurde seinem Namen gerecht ohne zu scharf zu sein. "Sehr scharf" wäre für unsere Gaumen aber vermutlich zu viel.Unser Tipp ist das vegetarische Curry mit gegrillten Auberginen.Der Gastraum ist von viel Licht durchdrungen und nicht überladen eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl.Wir waren sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal hier essen und können einen Besuch absolut empfehlen."

"Das Essen war mir leider zu salzig, sei es supper oder Hauptgang. Ambiente war sehr interessant gestaltet, das Gebäude sah nämlich selbst gebaut aus. "Wir waren zu sechst abends am Wochenende dort. Die Servicekraft war freundlich, aber nicht unbedingt professionell. Wir hatten die Getränke alle zusammen bestellt, aber jedes Getränk kam einzeln - das kann man deutlich besser timen! Das Essen war geschmacklich gut, aber sowohl ich, als auch der andere Gast mit dem gleichen Essen, hatten danach Verdauungsprobleme. Die anderen am Tisch hatten keine Probleme. Wohl besonders die mexikanischen Gerichte sind lecker. Ausgerechnet das Getränk und die Beilage zu meinem Essen waren aus und ich musste mir etwas Neues aussuchen. Kann niemand was dafür, außer demjenigen, der für den Einkauf zuständig ist. Allgemein finde ich, das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt nicht.Am schlimmsten finde ich jedoch die Toiletten! Jedes Mal beim betreten fühle ich mich wie auf einem Bahnhofsklo. Rein gar nichts dekoratives und sauber ist es auch nicht wirklich. Ich komme nur noch zum Trinken vorbei und dann auch nur ein Getränk, damit ich dort nicht aufs Klo muss."

"In an industrial area, not far from B38, Amar Palace is an Indian restaurant with a Tandoori oven. The often annoying car park search in cities has already been omitted. "Was für ein Abend dank der Empfehlung eines Kollegen. Ersteindruck von außen: Seitengasse, nicht so gute Parkmöglichkeit, sehr unscheinbar. Da würde es mich ohne die Empfehlung nicht reinverschlagen. Das Ambiente hübsch, so stellt man sich eine Osteria vor. Die Frau des Chefs bedient. Nun werden viele verunsichert: Es gibt Hausweine und KEINE separate Weinkarte.. das macht die Chefin des Hauses persönlich nach Vorlieben und anhand italienischer Gegenden. Das Ergebnis war ein hervorragender Sangiovese aus Montecucco. Was dann folgte war eine kulinarische Traumreise: Typisch Osteria gibt es keine Speisekarte, sondern die Gerichte werden von einer Tafel abgelesen und bestellt. Es gibt keine Speisekarte, weil nach Verfügbarkeit angeboten wird. Klasse! Nach einem Teller Antipasti kam die Penne mit gebratener Leber, schließlich nach einem Salat noch Saltimbocca und Panna Cotta zum Nachtisch. Alles hausgemacht, frisch zubereitet (es braucht etwas Zeit, aber die ist es wert), mit perfekten Garzuständen und wahnsinnig lecker. Ich habe bisher keinen besseren Italiener nördlich der Alpen gefunden. Zudem: All diese Gerichte kamen pro Person zusammen auf 50€ inkl. Getränken - angesichts der Qualität gut investiertes Geld, ich würde auch mehr bezahlen. Und zum Abschluss des Abends ein guter Grappa aufs Haus, ein ebenfalls sehr guter Espresso und noch ein Gespräch mit dem Koch, der stolz erzählt, wie oft er z. B. von Lieferanten mit Fisch versorgt wird. Fazit: Unglaublich gute Speisen und Getränke, alle auf sehr hohem Niveau, schönes Flair und ein überaus zufriedener Gast, der sich wie ein Schneekönig freut, dieses Kleidod gefunden und erlebt haben zu dürfen. Vielen Dank und gerne wieder!"

"Don't be misled by some raters who claim that the service, the quality of food or whatever are bad, all nonsense. I've come here for over 5 years and I don't see any negative change nor have I ever felt ill. You pay less then 14,00 EUR and get to eat from a gigantic selection of pre-cooked dishes from the hot buffet AND you get to use the Mongolian buffet AND they even have a selection of fresh sushi. What else in the world do you expect? Granted, interior decor is supposed to resemble a Chinese location, but in all actuality it is a big chow hall, so not fancy at all. Nevertheless, you pay a really good price for the all-you-can-eat offer, understandably, that this place is therefore always packed and that service staff is sometimes under stress. Despite the stress, they are always extremely friendly, helpful and zealous to get you your dishes or drinks as fast as possible. The food itself is standard Chinese buffet food, spring rolls, sweet-sour pork, satee, octopus, etc. However, If you pick your ingredients from the Mongolian buffet to be prepared from scratch you get to select as much as you like from lamb, pork, beef, chicken, turkey, different fish, small and large shrimp, clams, squid and cuttle, and of course 15+ different sauces and vegetables. Unfortunately, I see people who tend to overload their plates and may get some food which is undercooked, I'd rather go twice or three times and sample different dishes. That is a way more fun dining experience.... I'll be back."

"Wir waren zu viert dort essen und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und erkundigte sich in angenehmen Abständen nach unserem Wohl. Mit dem Essen waren wir auch alle sehr zufrieden. Das Rindersteak und die Beilagen waren sehr lecker. "Wir wollten schon lange das Restaurant ausprobieren. Wir waren zu dritt und konnten uns einen Tisch aussuchen. Im Laufe des Abend wurde das Lokal immer voller. Im großen Gastraum stehen die Tische in zwei Reihen recht eng zusammen. Das kann bei einem vollen Lokal ungemütlich werden. Wir saßen gleich neben dem Eingang rechts, hier ist es etwas gemütlicher. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Karte bietet ein buntes Allerlei, inklusive Burger und Currygericht. Wirtshausküche konnte ich wirklich erkennen, aber es soll ja modern sein. Das Wiener Schnitzel ist aber wirtshausgerecht. Allerdings wird es standardmässig mit Pommes serviert. Ein Wechsel der Beilagen auf Bratkartoffeln war jedoch problemlos möglich. Vorab gab es leckere warme Brotscheiben mit einem pikanten Tomatenaufstrich, im Obatztn Style. Ein großes Plus ist auch der Ausschank von Augustiner vom Fass, außerhalb Bayerns eher selten. Als Vorspeise wählte ich das Tatar von der Avocado auf Fruchtspiegel und mit frischen Obst. Das Gericht war sehr lecker und ästhetisch wunderschön angerichtet. Auf Nachfrage erfuhr ich, dass die Köchin erst seit einem halben Jahr im Restaurant tätig ist. Das Schnitzel war dünn und gleichmässig gebraten. Leider wurde beim Schnitzel Salz und Pfeffer vergessen, es schmeckte sehr fade. Die Bratkartoffel waren sehr gut und auch die Würze hat gepasst. Zum Abschluss gab es noch ein Getränk aufs Haus. Wir durften wählen. Ich entschied mich für einen Espresso, der sogar noch mit einer Schokolade serviert wurde. Alles in allem, nicht nur für Viernheim, eine sehr gute Alternative, mit etwas Luft nach oben."

"Unser Restaurantbesuch war leider enttäuschend. Gemüse und Kartoffeln zu meinem Lachsfilet haben noch geschmeckt. Der Lachs selbst war aufs äußerste misslungen. Er war wie halb fritiert, dadurch eine geschmackliche Mischung aus trocken und crispy, schwer zu kauen. Es ist mir ein Rätsel wie man es schaffen kann ein Lachsfilet überhaupt so zuzurichten und, besonders, dieses noch an die Gäste rauszuwinken. Die Sauce Hollandais sah aus wie schon lange angetrocknet, konnte dadurch nicht einmal mehr aus der Saucenkanne ausgeschüttet werden und ich musste diese mit der Gabel herauskratzen. Auch der Caesersalat war nicht gelungen, ein liebloser Haufen Kopfsalat mit einem Hauch von Sauce dekoriert. Lediglich das Bruscetta war empfehlenswert. Dennoch wird man uns hier leider nicht wiedersehen."

"Zu unseren Lieblingslokalen in Viernheim zählt das Restaurant Artischocke! Frische, gute Küche, herzliche Begrüßung durch die Chefin (Deutsche) und beste Kochkünste in der Küche (Italienisch). Auf der Tafel sind mit Kreide immer mal wieder im wöchentlichen Wechsel außergewöhnliche Speisen notiert wie z. B. Leber mit Rotweinzwiebeln oder Fussili mit Kaninchen usw. Mein Favorit ist Rindersteak in Gorgonzolasauce mit Bandnudeln....ein Traum für Käsefans!Also man sieht eindeutig deutsch/italienische Küche. Und das zu moderaten Preisen.Das Lokal an sich ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahe gekommen, aber liebevoll dekoriert und mir persönlich ist viel wichtiger, dass das Essen gut ist! Wenn ich schicke Möbel sehen will, gehe ich in ein Möbelhaus ... Da gibt's aber nix zu essen !"
