"Visited La Traviata as we felt wanted a restaurant dinner as opposed to cafe type place Easy enough to get a table as nobody else in the place Proper wooden chairs and tablecloth so not led down on that score Waiter took our drinks order and came back with our drinks and a saucer of crisps and explained for us while awaiting our food We initially ordered a Sirloin Steak and Lamb which turned out not to be available so became steaks The way we wanted them cooked medium/rare turned into a scene from Fawlty Towers as we tried to explain Showing google translate on our phone did not help but persevering eventually found another definition which she understood We also asked what accompanied the steak and told salad and chips which was fine When the dinner came there was the steak cooked to our liking with a handful of homemade chips and a very small-cooked slice green pepper and 1 tomato cooked halved The steak to my mind was fillet not sirloin but for us a step up which was really nice and tasted as a decent fillet should with not a shred of fat The pepper sauce was pretty ordinary and like a runny soup in composition with masses of peppercorns Apart from the steak my wife had a vodka with coke and I had 2 small beers Cost 60 Euro In terms of value I thought not good when compared with the numerous other Spanish Cafes that do meals of an equal standard overall Nothing to entice us back and not even a pristine sea view but no complaints about the actual steak"
