"Disappointing. We were quite early, only 2 3 tables already seated, and were told that as it was nearly the end of the season there was a limited selection of wine from what was already a rather brief list . However, the very modestly priced, but entirely drinkable, house white €7 per bottle! turned out to be the highlight of the evening! My pasta was served lukewarm and was average carbonara . My wife’s supposedly a Genovese, but not pesto and broccoli as expected but tinned tuna and tomatoes arrived a while after the other three diners but at least had the benefit of being hot if also average . We went for some puddings and my friend and I both chose crema Catalana which was not the re named creme brûlée it purported to be, but was vanilla ice cream with some sort of gooey layer on top. We hardly ate these as both terracotta dishes they were served in proceeded to disintegrate and we were rather anxious we’d end up with injury if we tried to eat it. My wife’s local version of a bread and butter pudding tasted quite nice but was still cold, almost frozen, in the middle. We saw some pizzas being served to other diners they looked good, perhaps that’s the thing to order here. The waiter was friendly, and seemed taken aback at the broken terracotta. There wasn’t an apology, as such, but they didn’t appear on the bill."
