"As part of our two-day stay at Weissenhaus we have a dinner (originally planned were two) and an afternoon visit (coffee and cake) in the boathouse. The impression that we complained about after dinner on the first evening of the stay was reconfirmed by the afternoon visit on the second day: the boat house is a wonderfully situated, modern maritime restaurant with friendly, attentive service and pleasant flair. What leads us to an assessment of only three stars is the fact that both the otherwise outstanding and first-class overall impression of Weissenhaus (e.g. staff, suite, breakfast offer), as well as the map and pricing of the boathouse are based on an impression and anticipation that, above all, does not fully meet the food and the ambience (cold light, to loud music). It lacks the absolute wow effect. Our tip: Instead of using the boathouse, the room service on Weissenhaus is, in our experience, like everything else on the plant, a smooth 10/10."
