"We were in the area for a rugby match and were lucky to get a table for two at the last minute for Sunday lunch, which ended up costing around £36, including soft drinks. Although the food took a bit longer to arrive than we would have liked, it was absolutely worth the wait! I ordered the roast lamb, which was served with excellent roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, plenty of vegetables, and the gravy was heavenly. I even added a Yorkshire pudding for just 75p. My teen opted for the steak and Stilton pie with chips and enjoyed it immensely. Both meals were reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this lovely spot.
