"If you are looking to pay £16+ for an average dinner, then this is the place for you. I was immediately frustrated when told to order through an app instead of from the person in front of me. Despite saving 5%, it was still not worth it. The wait for our food was long, but when it arrived, it looked impressive. We ordered extra potatoes, so I can't say how many we would have received without paying extra. Unfortunately, the gravy was lukewarm and the tasteless cauliflower cheese was cold in the middle. The nut roast seemed like leftover vegetables with a frozen disc of goat cheese on top. The Yorkshire pudding was cold and the beef was overcooked despite requesting it rare. The vegetables were unpleasant and tasted frozen. The manager refused to refund my meal, claiming I had eaten half of it, which was not true. Overall, it was a big disappointment. I regret not trying another restaurant. Despite being half full on a Sunday afternoon, the quality of the food was shockingly bad."
